I would sometimes stop here on my walks through the calm Pere Lachaise to grab a bite or drink. Wasn't the best but not the worst; it does the job to refill your esprit. It feels like your typical café, where you can just sit down and Profitez bien de la journée.

Breakfast before flea market shopping.  

This morning required a more substantial breakfast than the usual croissant and coffee. They still offer it here. But the ham and cheese omelette was fluffy, cheesy and filling. And....served with a side salad. For 9€ it was a great find. 

At 8am we were the only ones having a "full breakfast".  Others came and dipped there cappuccino and espressos at the bar. 

Very clean restaurant. Quiet staff. Located across from the Père Lachaise metro stop.

This is a fair sized restaurant right next to the metro and across the street from Père Lachaise Cemetery.  As we had no other plans on where to have lunch before visiting the cemetery we stopped here for a quick bite.  It's located on a street corner at a busy intersection and has a mostly glass front, contemporary decor, and also outdoor seating in front.  We opted to sit inside next to the bar right by the windows as the busy intersection was not particularly appealing. English menus. Had pasta and omelet, both decent, the latter came with a small salad and fries so a good size portion. Reasonable prices (for Paris). A convenient place to have lunch when visiting the cemetery.

My group and I were starving and this was right next door to the cemetery we were going to explore. We walked in and were greeted right away, My favorite thing about France is that they are very big on etiquette. If they say hello to you and you don't greet them back before you ask if they speak English or blurt out that you need a table, you have a much different experience.

We opted to sit inside at a window, although they had plenty of seating in their covered patio. It was 11:30 so we missed breakfast. The service was pretty typical for a touristy cafe. Servers don't check on you all the time like they do in the states so patience is a virtue. I ordered their quiche special and it was A-OK. The crust was a bit dry but the eggs themselves were superb.

It's pricey, but you'll find that most places when you opt to sit down.

I came here for breakfast, and basically it was a random cafe that I picked pretty much as soon as I stepped out of the metro station. That is one of the great things about Paris, you don't have to wander too far without finding a decent cafe. Since it was pretty early, I decided to grab a traditional French breakfast - croissant, orange juice, and coffee, and it worked. Mind you, I can't bring myself to having a croissant anywhere else because, well, it isn't France (and I have a feeling that the ones you get in the supermarket simply don't add up). As for this place, yeah, it was pretty nice.

The waiter was a French arrogant a..hole (I'm a French citizen, I can say that! He is one of my fellow citizen that give us bad rep all around the world.  And he probably thinks he is a great waiter ). 

He wouldn't wait 2 minutes on our order as we were hesitating through the menu and were all dressed in black, obviously coming back from a funeral at the nearby cemetery. No manners. 

We ordered bubbly water; we got flat water.
We ordered butter to go with the bread, we got some sort of fake margarine mix
We ordered mussles with fries and got dry mussles with nearly no juice at the bottom and overly salted. Fries were just so-so.
We ordered confit de canard and got a nasty piece of duck full of fat and skin
We ordered the fish of the day and my fiancee got sick the same night.
We ordered desserts and they were very unimpressive. 

Then at the end, the waiter had the guts to tell me that his crappy food was pretty good for a 14 euros lunch formula in Paris.  Maybe he should try to actually eat at good places in Paris once in his life.

Do not under any circumstances go to this place.   Oh they did mention that the owner changed so they were transitioning. So it might get even worse...

We came here to drink hot chocolate and a coke and we can't say it was super bad, but: the coke was super expensive (6,50€!!) and it wasn't even real Coke. Not really happy about that. Speaking of the hot chocolate (4€) it was good but nothing too special. 

Apparently the WiFi is free but we couldn't find out what the password is so we couldn't use it. 

All in all, it's a good place to warm up if it's cold and rainy outside, but we wouldn't go there again. And just don't buy any soft drinks here!

This place did not stand out in any fashion to me except for a bad experience with the bill. I left the Pere Lachaise Cemetery with a huge hunger and was sucked in by the huge sign advertising a special of mussels, frittes, bread, and beer. The meal was fine, but not worth repeating. The lone story of note was when I paid my 14 euro bill with a 100 euro note (that is all I had). The waiter dropped the change off at the table, which was 50 euro short. I sat there for a while, waited, and wondered how I would fix this problem with my lack of understanding of French. Luckily the waiter passed by again after a long lapse and I carefully explained my shortage. He apologized and handed me 50 euros out of his wallet. I immediately left and was glad it didn't come down to his word against my lack of French words.

We ordered 2 French coffees and a mousse = 25.00 Euros. All was delicious, but the waiter actually asked us for a tip! Perhaps he thought we do not know the French culture, or maybe he thought we were foolish. We refused. (Downgraded from 3 to 2 stars for that alone.)

I didn't think it was as bad as the reviews I read say. I did have to wait awhile for a server but he sincerely apologized for it. I believe he may have been the only server on at that time. 
For dinner I had the Italian sandwich and a salad with egg and mayo (I forget what it was called in French)   It was good. Not amazing but good and filing. I finished with a hot chocolate. 
While I don't think it was amazing and a must eat at restaurant, I think it's a good place to go when hungry and need a break from walking. Decent, reasonably priced food.
