On a recent trip to Paris, we ate at this place at least 5 times over our 4 day trip.

I found the prices to be a bit high, but then, most prices in Paris are pretty high.

We went to several other restaurants in the area, but found this was definately our favorite.

There was plenty of food (i usually ordered one of their WONDERFUL salads) and i wasn't able to ever finish one.  The desserts were good.  The wine selection good.  Our waiter (the same one each time we went), was a nice guy and spoke pretty good English which helped make the visit more pleasant for us.

If fi had a complaint, it would be that things run very slow.  We were usually seated very quickly, however it took  a long time to get a menu, to order, to get our food, to order desserts, etc.  We tried to just relax and enjoy and not to in a big hurry.

We sat inside as everyone on the patio smoked.  The smoke did come inside a little bit, but never too much to make you uncomfortable.

overall, i loved it.  it was especially a good place for 'people watching' as we always sat by a window.

I forgot to mention they have free WiFi which was GREAT !

Amazing food and great service. We had the snails and the goat cheese salad and both were seriously to die for. I recommend sitting in the back inside but next to the opening, especially at night!

Had lunch there just decided to pop in. Very quick and friendly service. Hostess spoke good English and waiter very friendly. 

Good food, large amount , great blond French beer. Would go back again.

This place was near our hotel so we had breakfast. First day, it was little after 7 am but they were ready to serve so we didn't eat. Next day, we went there after 8 am, we ordered omelette and ham & cheese sandwich (fries came along). Service was nice and both dishes were very reasonable (7.20 Euro).

We went here on our first night in Paris because it's close to our hotel. We had their ham, egg & cheese sandwich. The server forgot the egg so he came back with fried egg in a small plate that i had to add on top of my sandwich. My husband wasn't impressed with his ham & cheese either. They're overpriced in my opinion. €9 for a sandwich is just too much. Their capuccino's really good though.

Cafe Margeride was our first stop in Paris for a cup of coffee and a warm dinner. Margeride's outside seating was very crowded with chairs and tables, however the Brasserie was only half-full when we arrived, which made it comfortable enough. The service was extremely friendly and the food was good. Margeride was where we got our first Parisian shock - a 0.5l beer was a good 8 euros and a Cappuccino was 5 euros. These are prices which we found to repeat themselves all over the city - so Margeride isn't entirely to blame. The Cappuccino I ordered was nothing short of excellent anyway - so I would gladly return for another despite the painful price. Try Margeride if you're looking to try moderately priced Escargo (cooked snails).
