It's a quite convenient place, the service is very attentive, its Parisian dishes, traditional, rich.

Good, but there are better places in the area.

I tried the tartare here, which was quite good and voluminous.  That said, I'll admit that it lacked the panache of other tartare I had in other places in Paris, so it was a bit of a letdown.  Thankfully, the bread and wine here made up for it, somewhat.

As others have noted, the service here is a bit odd, even given relatively different French standards.  Don't expect speed or many niceties.

Customer service and pace was a shocker-- later to be confirmed with other restaurant services in Fr-- maybe it's their culture !?

Slow , I tell you. If you are starving, you had better eat some bread!

Everything had here was yummy, including my Calvados, cassis cocktail (€8.9 during HH). 

Bread basket was delicious, and so were the ginormous salads. My order of escargots was perfect. Buttery, parsley, garlicky snails. My first time eating was in college with BF at Le Bateau Ivre on Telegraph.

Satisfying, although getting an actual menu, the food, and even paying were trying!

Utilitarian is the word I would describe this place - great coffee and croissant with french bread.

Awfully slow like all restaurants in Paris we been to. Minimum employees for the large crowd. Had to leave the place after 20 minutes waiting and they had not even given us a menu

Stopped in one weeknight for a quick cocktail with my buddy visiting from Istanbul.

The place was not particularly busy for the evening. 

The bartender was friendly & even humored our attempts to speak French. Had a couple scotches on the rocks on the patio.

A couple nights later, my soon-to-be fiancee and I came in & were warmly greeted & seated for dinner.

The Onion soup was delicious. And my "de-constructed salad" which came out on a cutting board with warm brie, veggies, foie gras and some cured meats was delicious.

The service was friendly & attentive and the food was great!

What a wonderful little gem.  Love this place.  I always make a point to spend a evening or two enjoying the people,  food,  and beer/wine here on my trips to Paris.  The staff is amazing.  Friendly funny and outgoing to make you feel comfortable.  The atmosphere and customers are great.  Very social and just a pure delight.  One of my favorites.  Food is price fairly and yummy.   A great night for a date or just to relax with friends.   Ask for Kevin "Costner".  Kevin was the best!  Never let the glass get empty.

Great food and drink, but the service was less than to be desired.  We had traditional french desserts and they were amazing!  Thank you!

We went to this restaurant due to convenience as it was located right across the street from our hotel. The staff was friendly, seated us quickly, and helped us with our order. 

The wine was tasty and well priced. The food was average. The escargot was great! Lot of flavor, the snails were huge, and my wife really enjoyed her first escargot experience. My wife got the beef tartare on accident, neither of us had tried that before. Wasn't the best thing I've ever eaten, would never order it again, didn't know it was cold raw beef.  I got the pork chops and mashed potatoes. The pork chops were ok, nothing amazing. The potatoes were surprisingly good, very buttery if you like that.

The service was alright. The waiter was kind if rude when we started to speak in English. But the food there was pretty good. Got the breakfast foods with a cup of tea. The croissant was really good! Overall good atmosphere but just wish service was a bi better
