We were looking for something a little more substantial for breakfast than just a pastry and found Caprice Café. The menu had a couple options- a French breakfast (a croissant, bread, jam, coffee and orange juice) and an English breakfast (eggs, ham, a croissant, bread, jam, coffee and orange juice)-we did both and shared. It was plenty of food for the two of us and was delicious!

Service was fantastic-perhaps it was the owner? He was friendly and spoke English, even though we gave him our best French phrases. I appreciate the flexibility and I'm sure we gave him a chuckle with how we pronounced some things. 

It's a beautiful little café with all the French ambience we've come to love!

The service is really nice and they speak English.

I got the beef tartare- it had a spicy kick to it. They give you a decent amount and fries.  I thought it was average compared to other higher end places but not bad for the price. 

They have other things on the menu like sandwiches, salads, and fish. I wish I got there earlier enough for the breakfast.

Came here for dinner with the bf one night during our trip to France. This place was close to my friend's apartment and it looked good and was also reasonably priced. My bf decided to partake in their dinner pre-fixe menu offerings (which came out to under 20 Euros an offering) while I ordered an a la carte entree. Our server spoke English and was able to help us navigate the menu. Our food was fine, albeit kind of forgettable for whatever reason. For dessert, we shared a lovely creme brulee. There was also live music playing while we dined. Overall, a lovely experience in this somewhat quieter part of Paris.

Reasonably priced, for Paris standards. 
I had the duck confit for 14 euros. It came with a huge mound of deliciously seasoned potatoes (garlic and a little pesto sauce on them). The duck is moist and tender. Not fatty at all. The chocolate mousse was delicious! Just the right consistency and richness. Tre Bon! They have tables both outside and inside. The waiter was helpful and cordial.

We stumbled into this little place after arriving in Paris severely jet lagged and hungry. The owner is super friendly, struggles with English but is very accommodating and patient. We had a simple bite that evening and returned the next morning for breakfast after some sleep. Their English breakfast was very good, very filling, and mated well with a fresh coffee. If I lived in or frequented the 14th I would be a regular here. Again the owner is so wonderful!

We were looking for a place to eat at 2:30 pm, and while many restaurants had already closed their kitchen, Caprice Cafe was open and the service and food were excellent for their prices! Free wifi and speaks English a plus as well...
