This is very late post! We had gone to restaurant recommendation from a good friend. My wife had gotten the a very filling chicken cheese

Some friends wanted to grab some Mexican food and this place definitely hits some of those notes for those missing Mexican flavors.

All items on the menu are delicious and the margaritas hit the spot. Authentic southwestern/ Mexican restaurant. They like to use chipotle sauce in most items. Great vibes, great music, and hard working and delightful staff. Would highly recommend. 

I enjoyed the chicken tacos, others at my table got the da f*ckin burrito, pork tacos, and the quesadilla, and all were great. Guacamole was also very good

Wow I've never had such a bad experience. First of all -- the pitchers of margaritas were so watered down, there was NO alcohol. The place was not even that busy but everything arrived late, especially the food, and one of the main dishes had been totally forgotten. The waitress apologized profusely and said that the chef had been out late the night before and that's why the dishes were all messed up. An odd admission but appreciated. Then when the bill came they had added two pitchers of margaritas we hadn't ordered or been served! We had these removed but then after each of our ten person party paid the waiter claimed one of us had not paid. So annoying, so we cut a deal to cover half in cash and left on a handshake. At 1 in the morning the owner called me on my cell phone looking for his missing 17 euros. I couldn't believe his gall after the shameful experience we had. This place is a joke. I've spent a lot of time in Mexico and the food at this restaurant is nothing close to authentic. Avoid at all costs.

1st: it's not mexican. Not even close. This is not something negative per se, but I think it's worth to be mentioned.
2nd: the service is pretty bad. Too much waiting for everything. 
3rd: if you are planning to spend 20 minutes doing a Burrito, please at least bring breads, totopos or something.
4th: the food is bad. The Burrito was basically carrots with a bit of meat. 
5th: the habanero sauce had expired 6 months ago.

The place is nice, to be fair.

Coming from California, which is like an extension of Mexico , I know what good Mexican food tastes like. I've been looking for a decent Mexican restaurant in Paris which is harder than it sound. Lots of places don't have enough flavor to their dishes or it doesn't even taste like Mexican food. 

Finally Distrito Frances has finally brought good Mexican food to Paris with their own tasty twist. I ordered the burrito don't remember the exact name but it was so good. The meat was well seasoned and juicy, not over powered by bland rice. My friend took the spicy tacos, she said it was hot enough that she didn't need the special home made hot sauce on our table. We also got the chicken skewers breaded, their own yummie creation, that was good too ( again the meat was nice flavorful and juicy ) . We also ordered guacamole, the chips where a mixture of spicy and regular. The guac was bomb.com. And we washed it down with home made horchata w honey and something else that was so good. 

Got to meet one of the owners and he was super cool and explained to us the concept behind his restaurant. He said it was a fusion of Mexican and french and the restaurant is suppose to resemble a house, each sitting area is different but with a super cozy feel. If you are looking for good Mexican food and a nice ambiance, and cool staff come to Distrito  Frances. Oh and the prices are good too I think I paid €48 for 2 appetizers , 2 main plates, a pitcher of horchata and a Dessert (Happy birthday song by the owner =priceless) :)

Awesome food. My burrito was huge, big by American stands. I was *slightly* bummed that I didn't have room for dessert though. Our group of four asked for a bigger table after having been seated at cocktail tables downstairs. The servers quickly and happily accommodated our request. Great service and yummy food--looking forward to going back.

To say that this place is good is an understatement.  It was amazing.  Some people have complained that its not Mexican, which is like saying Momofuku is not Asian.  Its a fusion of flavours that comes together so well that its scary.  My wife and I came here when we were not very hungry. We had the carnitas and a the veggie burrito.  The veggie burrito was stuffed with asian-style shiitake mushrooms. Both dishes were amazing, but the veggie burrito was so good that I wanted to order another one.  If I was hungry, I would have ordered another 2-3 dishes to try them all out.  I should mention that I'm not a vegetarian, but the flavours that went into it were very good.  I come from Toronto, which is known for good food.  This place would have a lineup for hours to get in.  I couldn't recommend this place enough

Very impressed with this place I tried the nachos and they were good .. my husband tried the burrito and he is Mexican and he really liked it!! Was exactly in front of our apartment.... I forgot to take the name of the girl that took care of us.. she was nice and explained that was a fusion of Mexican/ French and Korean ., I regret now of not trying the Milanesa

Mexican fusion cuisine. Liked the queen bee more than the drunken love tacos. The gringo burrito was very tasty although rather small. Cool place and friendly staff.
