My husband and I were staying just down the street from this café, so we decided to give it a try. The outdoor space was huge and completely full of young people who were clearly enjoying themselves drinking, smoking, and talking. We saw very little food on any of their tables. 

We ended up in one of the interior areas, where smoking is prohibited, the space was empty and pretty dark, and service was very lacking. It took a long time for our orders to be taken, but the food arrived in a reasonable time. Despite smoking not being allowed inside, plenty of smoke drifted in. We had a hard time getting our check, eventually being told to just go to the bar and explain what we ordered. 

The food was nothing special. We would not return.

I really wanted to enjoy it. It was packed on a Friday night. Drinks were good but it was hard to enjoy a meal when there was a mouse running around. When we told the server she said that they are trying to get the rodent situation under control. We were disgusted. Will not be back

3/23/24 - Wanted a casual place after a long travel day.  It was next to hotel we were staying at.  It wasn't crowded when we got there.  We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in.  Felt cozy on a chilly rainy day!  We must have been ahead of the curve as while there were only a handful of tables occupied, it filled up quickly and seemed to be a lot of folks who'd been there often.  Loved the food and the beer.  The confusing issue for us newbies, was whether we ordered at the bar of if someone would eventually come to the table.  After about 10 minutes no one had so my husband went to the bar and was informed someone would come to the table.

Amazing food. Great service. Fun ambiance. Highly recommend this place. This is the second time I've been here this trip to Paris!

This seems to be a local favorite. We sat outside, ordered a Classic Burger and a BBQ pork sandwich. Both came with fries that were made by hand with the skins on. Yum!  Both the food and the service was wonderful.

As 2 couples we went L Ernest.  I one person did not get her salad as the rest of us received our dinner. When asked about it the waitress went to check and didn't return. We asked to see the manager and she said she was the manager.  She asked if a dessert would be okay. We took it because they didn't offer anything else. The pizza that was ordered was very good though.

Great pub style food. The happy hour steak and fries was a great deal and satisfying. I'd come back here. It was right across the street from our hotel, The Drawing House.

Overall this was edible but not great and it would be reasonably priced if the food was good but it really wasn't. not worth it. not coming back. Roast chicken is so hard to butcher but they really made it hard to eat here. It was hard to rip the meat from the bone, it was super dry and just horrible. The fries were alright, and the salad was horrible. Service was gruff but fine, and super fast.Three stars instead of two because at least the bread was good (actually the bread was probably one of the best complimentary baguette bread i've had here in france) and dessert was fine.
