We ordered lotus root and cabbage and our waiter never told us they were out of these items. I ordered iced lemon honey tea and they were out of ice as well. Which was a shame since Paris is unseasonably warm this time of year.

We asked for a table for two and were lead to a second floor that with an hype vibe and rich red decor. Our table had a built in cook top and a very large pot of steaming broth was placed in front of us. We ordered beef tendon, two types of mushrooms, special pork, two types of beef and some assorted green vegetables. We took a trip down stairs to get our share of the special spices and condiments to add to the fondue.

I found the freshness of the food to be good and the portions plentiful.

Half way thru the meal our 1st waiter disappeared and we flagged down a new one.

Not sure why on a week night this place would be out of so many items. We made the best of it since we were worn out by our day. The meal was fine the service was lacking.

Very authentic Chinese hot pot. I'd recommend mild-spicy for the first-timers. And you gotta wrestle your way into the sauce station. The place was rather popular. Make a reservation to make sure you don't wait in line.

Chongqing hotpot that is very traditional. Quality of ingredients is good. However found the non spicy sauce to be quite bland. Spicy saice was however quite delicious.
