Wow. This cheese and wine bar is amazing. A beautifully quaint and perfectly Paris neighborhood spot. We stopped in on an evening and Formaticus had an easy vibe with its cozy space and dimly lit interior.

We ordered a cheese and charcuterie board, my favorite was a soft rind brie that we, literally, just dug and dipped our bread into. Simple, delicious -- you can't go wrong with any of the cheeses you order. Great selection of wines and I also recommend the truffle honey (which can be purchased separately).

Formaticus was fairly close to our AirBnb during our stay in Paris, so we decided to go in one day for lunch before heading out to the museums. We were a group of 4, and we split the 16 cheese option, as well as the charcuterie plate. We loved everything! Our waiter spoke enough English to tell us about everything he was serving us, though we would have been happy even without the explanation. This is a great option for a meal in Paris if you're just looking for something simple that is also delicious. Definitely a great find!

This is a true french experience. We tasted the 6 cheese table with acacia truffled honey (that you can buy there also) and some kind of marmalade that i don't remember. The toasted sesame seed bread was so good, and the different cheeses were magnificent. They speak english so tourists can go with confidence. Also all the people here are very nice. This place is a must.
