Everything was delicious!!

Came here for lunch and enjoyed the 3 course meal for 34 euros. It was spectacular. My friend had the 3 course meal for 29 and it was equally as good (if not better, honestly!).

The light cream sauce on the clams was to die for, especially good if you dip your bread in it; the champagne was the best I had in Paris, and our waitress was so sweet and nice.

The terrace is a very nice touch, especially when it's so sunny and nice out. I got the duck breast and my friend got the duck confit--I'd say next time, go with the confit (which is actually cheaper!). It was much more flavorful, but that's just what happens when you get legs vs. breast.

The desserts we ordered were the red berry crumble and the peach tart. LOVED the crumble. The peach tart had chocolate in it--kinda through us off but still very good.

We were not rushed at all and it ended up being around 100 euros for the whole lunch. Worth the splurge, if you ask me.

If you ever go to Paris, you must look up this restaurant and go ! And I will tell you why...
By an odd chance, I signed up for Paris Groupons, and found this brand new restaurant across from the Siene Riever and Notre Dame. What an amazing dinner and unforgettable experience! 

I had emailed them prior to our trip to let them know it was a special ocassion, and not familiar with Paris, wanted to make sure we would be able to visit Notre Dame at the same time, being there for only 4 days. They assured us that we would have a window table with a nice view of Notre Dame.
They were so accomodating in their emails, and their English was good.
We were staying in a flat right by the Eifel Tower(15th district), and decided to take a taxi. It was a nice 15 minute ride through the 5th & 6th district and was still light out at 7pm. It was my birthday, and being our last night in Paris, we still had not seen Notre Dame, which was a must see on our list.
 Well, when our taxi dropped us off in front the restaurant, it was literally right across from Notre Dame and Siene River! I mean, it was right in our faces! 
OMG, we were so estactic, we took pictures since it was still light, and all we could hope was the restaurant was just as beautiful.

We walked in, and it was what you would picture a beautiful French restaurant would look like.. Glass chandeliers, wood front desk, white tiled floors and candles all around.
    A beautiful Parisian lady greeted us in her French accent, we told her our names, took our coats, and introduced us to our French waiter who spoke no English, which made it even more authentic!
 When he took us to our table for 4, it was in pink (my favorite color), Rose petals all over, and candles already lit! To top it off, my seat had a bird's eye view of Notre Dame!
Groupons are always hit and miss, and you always seem to have mediocre service when you show them.. Not so here, they treated us with professionalism and we had a 4 course meal for 4 and wine (300 Euros value) for 89 Euros a couple!
1st course- A Cheese plate and glass of champagne
2nd Course- Escargot, Frois Gras, salad,
3rd- Leg of Lamb, veal, Filet Mignon, Mushroom Risotto (for our Vegetarian)
4t Course- Creme Brulee, Wine poached pear, Rasberry Tart, and a Chocolate souffle for dessert!
 One neat experience was my husband ordered a Coke, and they brought out a real bottle, and opened it up at the table, and poured it for him!
It will truly be one of the most memorable birthdays of my life, and ending the evening by walking around Notre Dame at night was the cherry on top!

I went here for some dessert and a glass of wine.  The restaurant is located just across the Seine River and the Notredame Church.  You can't beat the view at night.  My friend's cousin happens to work here and he speaks English, French and Filipino.  Which is great if you have a language barrier.

I shared the most amazing creme brulee and orange crepe with my friend.  Sharing two desserts was just enough for two people.  Eating here at night was really night and relaxing.

The food here was absolutely stunning. We ordered a fantastic French onion soup, excellent escargot, stupendous stuffed eggplant, and such a savory steak. In all seriousness, it was incredible. All the food was prepared with perfection. The staff was very nice, the waiter was informed and kind. We had an amazing view of Notre Dame. And, frankly, the girl I was sitting here with was pretty amazing too. And, she liked it too. So, it must've been pretty good.

I just wish we had room for dessert. We will for sure recommend this to anybody we meet.

I think people who give this place good reviews MUST be tourists.  Sorry but this restaurant does NOT serve good french food and anyone who has lived in France for even a short period of time could tell you that.

First of all the service is HORRIBLE.  I understand that most french restaurants take their time to serve you but this was beyond slow.  Getting our menu alone took 15 min and they forgot to give us a wine list.

The bread is reheated and if you don't eat it within the first 5 minutes it becomes a ROCK. We had escargot as a sharing starter and i don't even care about the snails (ps they are super small here), I just want that buttery garlic sauce.  There was SO little sauce to dip at the end, talk about a HUGE disappointment. 

Anyway, my own starter was shrimp with soy sprouts.  what. on. earth. The soy sprouts were RAW, crunchy and the seasoning was just soy sauce.  The shrimps were 100% frozen and they gave you legit TWO tiny shrimps that they cut into 3 pieces each.  Possibly one of the worst starters I've ever had in a nice restaurant.

My main I had salmon with basmati rice.  this was okay, not horrible but not good either.  Luckily the salmon was not dry.

Finally, for dessert I had a strawberry tart.  This was like a dessert tart you would buy from your local supermarket pastry section.  DISGUSTING.  I love dessert and this just confirmed that this restaurant is a complete rip off.  The tart itself was dry, and the custard was gross and chunky.  Needless to say, I didn't finish this.  

The only reason this place doesn't get one star is because the restaurant is nice.  NEVER come here.  You might as well go to any random cheap brasserie and eat the same quality food.

Very good food, amazing location- right across from Norte Dame. Nice presentation and service. We ordered quite a few dishes and got a chance to try each other's choices. Foie gras is a must

This was nice little gem, just off the beaten path. We arrived early on Sunday and was quickly off to the sights. While walking around Paris, we ca,e apron a few fellow Americans and asked about a good place to sit and relax a little. 
They pointed us in this direction. We being foodies came apron La Bouteille d'or and looked at their pre-fixe menu. We liked what was offered and had a table for two. At the window, over looking the Notre Damme.

The meals offered was pleasant. Perfect timing and perfect temp for all served. Service was quite quick for Parisian standards, and with a pleasant smile. 

Worth a stop. Not the crazy bistro style, people watching spot. But a nice, relaxing, actual have a conversation with your partner stop. 

She and I both give them a passing grade.. 

Don't waste your time on the place 2 blocks down......

The view alone, while sitting on the patio, is worth the visit.  Be sure to book a reservation (online is available) during busy times. 

I had the pleasure of dining here with my husband this last April and seeing the Notre Dame during dinner was simply - breathtaking.  Especially, since we dined at sunset, it was utterly romantic.  The memories of us talking, laughing, and enjoying the city were worth the the pricier fare.

The service was just okay.  Nothing to rave about, but not bad.  Speaking English was not a problem, as they had someone on staff to help.

The food?  Honestly, I can't remember anything we ordered.  Usually that means nothing stood out either way: good or bad.  I had started with an aperitif (small drink to start, the only one I ordered in Paris) and it was truly disgusting.  Silly me, for not asking more about it's flavors.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience and it was a perfect place to celebrate our romantic honeymoon.

On a pleasant family vacation ,a few weeks ago ,through Paris we came across a quaint restaurant. We were with a tour group so we had a preset meal that involved a vegetable mix, duck, and apple pie. 

Upon entering the restaurant it was as deserted as a golf course on super bowl Sunday.  We all sat down and within the first minute something felt wrong. We were quickly given our first course without time to sit and relax or have a moment to order drinks. My wife and two daughters aren't fans of tomatoes and tomatoes were prominent. They tried the food and picked around but ultimately did not like the food; on top of them not liking tomatoes the dish was also frozen and had large icy chunks throughout. The manager came up to us and in a very rude manner accused us of not enjoying his French cuisine and before we could answer whether or not if we enjoyed it: he took it away forcefully. 

The mannerism of the manager scared my wife and my youngest daughter, who was celebrating her eighteenth birthday. As they went to the restroom the man started yelling at them to hurry up and eat their food. I watched him as they were in the restroom; he was looming over the other customers watching them eat their duck. One customer complimented the duck and pointed to our table and accused "the children" of not liking the food. My whole family was eating a generous portion of duck. My wife and daughter sat back down. I felt the need to eat my other daughters duck for her so she would not be harassed by the manager. I tried complimenting the food to repair the broken relationship we had developed with the manager but he dismissed our pleas for reconciliation. 

The dessert was okay, yet we had no birthday celebration for my sweet angel daughter Brittany. I do not recommend this restaurant; the food was okay but the terrifying aura emitted by the merciless manager ruined the experience and young Brittany's birthday.

Man, what a great experience I had here. While I did feel a bit underdressed, the staff made me feel quite comfortable. 
The meal started with delicious bread as I enjoyed my Lagavulin scotch. 
Having never had it before, I had escargot as my appetizer and quite happy I did. While I'm no expert, I'd say it was excellent! Similar to clams, but not quite as sweet. 
For my main course I had rack of lamb and was it cooked perfectly. Medium rare, juicy and tender. Magnifique!
I finished my meal with some ice cream. As with the other courses, delicious!
Highly recommend. Highly.
