Tucked out of the way, with limited seating and a predominantly traditional menu, La Cadole is a great restaurant for a quiet meal. As another reviewer noted, it's pretty easy to gorge yourself on their delicious bread, but take my advice: try to listen to what your mother always said and leave some room for dinner.

My wife and I discovered this restaurant this evening and had an outstanding meal.  The owner served us and was charming.  He explained how the dishes were prepared in perfect english, which gave us a reprieve from using our broken French and pointing.  I started with a scallop chevre salad, then veal, then french toast and ice cream for dessert (unreal).  My wife had a mushroom pastry to start (amazing dish), grilled cod, and a crepe served aflame with a gran marnier sauce.  Along with great wine, it served to be the difineitive Parisian experience we had hoped to find.  Highly recommended.

If you are in Paris, France, you must eat at this restaurant.  If you stop reading this post because you feel I am too arrogant or confident in my opinion, BEWARE, you will miss out on the most epic flavor combinations you will ever witness in your entire life!  The owner creates all of the dishes from scratch, and sources local ingredients as much as possible.  The owner is super friendly, and has an amazing personality.  Seriously the best service I have had in Paris, France.  Please order wine, please eat as much bread as possible, please eat desert (the last, and best dish served!)  Please, please, please eat at this amazing restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

This is a good restaurant but average good and it may justify the price with the ingredients served but the tastes are good but not an experience to remember.
