Nestled in the charming streets of Saint Germain des Pres at 27 rue du four, La Crêpe d'Or offers a delightful escape into the world of authentic French crepes. There's actually a few creperies near this stand, but we didn't feel like waiting for a table at the other joints - it was during brunch time on a Saturday, so a lot of the cafes were super busy.  Luckily, the crepe chef/cook speaks English, so there was not a language barrier at all. The crepes are decently sized, I was hungry and there was more than enough food to feed my inner beast and another person. The sweet crepes are definitely rich - I needed a coffee to go with my nutella crepe. I also tried their ham and cheese crepe which was cheesier than ham, but that's a minor detail. The crepe itself is a little sweet, a bit fluffy, and very slightly chewy.

If you don't mind walking around with your food or don't mind standing and eating, this crepe stand is a good place to get your grub on.

Oh my god so good. I'm a student nearby and we get served these questionable sandwiches for 3.30, but you can have a warm delicious cheese crepe for just 4.00 here. The ham and cheese or egg and cheese crepes are only about 5 or 6 euros. 

I don't know what the other reviews are talking about with the pre-made stuff--he made the crepes fresh in front of me (and really perfectly and quickly, I've made crepes and it isn't that easy to brown and not burn them). Maybe if he pulled one out for you it was because he made a few in advance to keep warm for demand, they do the same in restaurants and bakeries all over. 

The guy who works here is lovely and helpful. My French isn't very good but he was welcoming anyway.  

I highly  recommend this nice street food place!

We stopped by twice during our stay in Paris since our Airbnb was only a short walk away. We tried a savory crepe with eggs, ham and cheese and also a sweet one with bananas and Nutella. I had asked for strawberries to be added but when I saw it wasn't fresh berries but actually preserves, I changed my mind about adding them. The crepes were good and not soggy or too soft, and held up the fillings pretty well. 

The prices are very decently priced, especially by Paris standards and were around €5-6 on average.

Not gummy like some places. We had one with jabon an fromage ( ham an cheese) and another with miel

Worst place. Eat any where else. Seriously. Super rude to Americans. Can find their food anywhere else

No seating- just a walk up.  But the best crepe I had in France- the ham and cheese was fantastic. Pass on the paninis ( I didn't deduct a star because it is a crepe place).

A random stop for a snack as we were getting peckish. It was a take out stand with crepes and paninis. They were a little more expensive for a take out stand though. €4 for a cheese crepe (they have salty and sweet fillings but all on the flour crepe skin as there's no galette available) and the crepe skin was premade already. He was very generous with the fromage though and offered also to add salt and pepper if you wish. Satisfied our hunger well and fine!

One of the best crêpes I've ever had! You need exact change in cash to get what you want, but it's worth it. It's fast and very inexpensive. You can't dine in either, but luckily it's close to my apartment. They're nice and friendly to non-native French speakers.

The crepes were so good! It doesn't look like much walking by, just a one man operation but it was delicious. We got a Nutella and banana crepe and a ham and cheese (which he loaded with cheese yum). Minus one star bc the crepes were pre made and just put back on the plate to warm up. Prices were reasonable not super cheap

Food was just so so. I would not come back to this Restuarant again. They is much better food to be found in Paris. Miss Ko had one of the best meals in Paris. Please try Miss Ko you will not be disappointed.
