Fiancé wanted to try Steak Frites and luckily were nearby and stumbled upon La Vache Acrobate!

Their menu was like a tapas menu where it featured small bites + portions so we liked being able to try a variety of dishes!

French Onion Soup -- 5/5 not sure what was in this , but here is where my love for French Onion Soup started haha twas delicious and I highly recommend it

Ceviche -- 4.5/5 I'm not really a cold dish/seafood kinda gal but here executed the dish really well, refreshing seafood with the added citrus that really enhanced its flavor

Ratatouille -- 4/5 I saw this on the menu, went on Google to see the ingredients, see that it is a French dish (and we're in France)... ok let's try it, haha! Fiancé and I were unsure what to expect and we typically don't eat a lot of stews, but overall, it was not bad! Hearty and a tad thick, but not super rich, it was also a nice way to get a bunch of veggies in haha

Steak Frites - 5/5 perfectly cooked steak and the frites were awesome, crispy and hot, perfectly seasoned and very fresh potatoes 

Highly recommend to check out if you're wanting Steak Frites!

An excellent place for a cozy dinner with friends! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy with excellent service for a bunch of Americans only knowing a bit of French!

We had light bites, which were excellent! My onion soup was outstanding and the Thai Shrimp was so very tasty...I was drenching my bread in the sauce to ensure that nothing was wasted!

Since hubby was at a different table, I did not get to stalk his plate with my camera but he throughly enjoyed his meal as well.

This was a great yelp find. I looked for a local place to have dinner, near the Moxy Paris Bastille where we stayed at. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel to this restaurant.
Once we went in, our host/server welcomed us and tried his best to speak English. The place was small, simple, and clean. The other tables were occupied by locals. Thankfully, the dishes on the menu had English translations so it made choosing much easier.
We tried:
FRENCH ONION SOUP- rich and delicious.
FROG LEGS- this was the first time that my kids have tried frog, and it was the perfect place for them to taste it.  The frog was cooked very well.
VEAL- this was prepared perfectly.
GRILLED SEA BASS- my son couldn't have been happier with his choice. The fish was so tasty.
CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD- I loved the anchovies!
RATATOUILLE- hearty and delicious.
STEAK- outstanding.
CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE w/VANILLA ICE CREAM- sinfully good.
FRENCH TOAST w/ SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM- I would get this over and over.

Overall, thanks to yelp for helping me find this little local gem. It made our evening in Paris more memorable because of the dining experience we've had here. All of our dishes were great, drinks were awesome, and the service was very friendly and efficient.

Service was very good. Arrived at 7pm and easily got a table. Food arrived quickly (super fast!) but was very good. Wouldn't recommend for a fancy night out but if you're looking for good food for dinner this is a great choice!

This is my favorite restaurant in the Marais. Unbelievable food, wonderful wines, such friendly service. This place is an absolute gem. American tourists mingle with locals effortlessly here. Cozy atmosphere and good prices. Eat here now!

We often eat in when visiting Paris but tonight decided to go to a restaurant just down the street from our apartment. Our meal was fantastic. This is a small little space but everyone is extremely accommodating and they serve everything from a cheeseburger to this magnificent steak that my husband and I shared. I can't even describe how delicious it was. It was about 35 ounces so unless you haven't eaten in a couple of days more than likely you will be taking home a large portion of this, which we did.  I was in the mood to dress up so we were a little more dressed up than other patrons but the restaurant accommodates everyone graciously. Try this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

We ate here 3 times in one week.... it was that good. Between the 5 of us, we tried almost every item on the menu and it was all good. Beef cheeks, broiled scallops with risotto, beef tartare, butcher's cut, tartilette, and the fois gras were all delicious. And the Côye du Rhone wine was the icing on the cake. The waiters, Jonathon and Christoph, are excellent at their jobs;  funny, friendly, and totally professional. I highly recommend it!.

This is one of the worst dinning experiences I've had in France. The hamburger came out raw, we sent back three. They came back a little less raw, and in a pile of bun meat and condiments. The beer was good.

Came here for a quick beer before going to the place I had booked for dinner and actually wanted to go to.

It was pretty empty but have to admit, was a Tuesday so didn't really expect to be pushing my way to the bar or wedging myself between the closing door and the frame just to get in, but I did expect a bit more life, just a flicker...

The decor was pretty cool though, and each seated area seemed to have its own atmosphere with cushioned benches giving way to high steel tools and high tables and then back down to good old bistro wooden chairs and tables.

The staff were great, even took back the 2 beers we ordered as they tasted awful and gave us new, different ones (turns out we ordered the wrong beer and it actually tasted like it was supposed to, but they made no drama of it, which was great).

Not a rocking joint for a Tuesday evening, but I think this dog must have it's preferred day, shame it wasn't the day I was there. Decent place though!

This quaint little restaurant is a place where locals go and eat. Food is really good the service was not great but the waiter was very nice anyway at least he wasn't rude. I had a grill fish that was very fresh with really nice seasonable vegetables. Everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this charming place!
