Worst restaurant I have visited in Paris
Do not visit this establishment! The food is badly cooked and of dubious quality. We had mussels which smelled awful, motzarella cheese that was like rubber, coq au vin with runny and grey sauce with a few vegetables and a "steak" that was certainly not from a cow. Disgusting!

We dined here twice during our visit to Paris in May.  The first evening the owner  waited on us;  he spoke English very well, he knew what celiac disease was, and he made sure I had a gluten free meal.   The second time our waiter did not speak English, and I made sure I spoke with the owner to insure that my meal was gluten free.   My husband has no dietary restrictions, and both of us thought our meals were delicious, and I had no ill effects.  That is why we returned.  The prices were very reasonable.
I realize this is not a "5 star" restaurant by review standards, but we very much enjoyed dining here.  This was one of three places where we dined on this street.    I would be very happy to eat at all of them again.
The menu specials were posted outside the door, and the place was packed.   Most of the patrons seated near us were conversing fluently in French with the waiter, so perhaps they were French tourists.  Also,  the "house" chardonnay was wonderful.  Of course it is not available here in PA, but that's nothing new.
This street is a tiny street that intersects the  Boulevard St. Germain.   The neighborhood is rather confusing to traverse.

We went here last summer. We were drawn into the restaurant by a friendly host at the door. However, once we were seated the waiter we had was just awful. He barely talked to us, and when he did it was almost in grunts. He dropped off our food as if in passing. He forgot to bring bread for our table. My husband had ordered pate as a starter, so he couldn't really start on it without bread. Eventually, we were able to flag down the host, who immediately recognized that we needed bread and eventually the waiter brought it. The pate was pretty good, but my crepe was a bit cold. For a main, I had the chateaubriand. I had asked for it rare but it came out medium, which made it somewhat tough. My husband's lamb chops were good, though. So overall, the food was a mixed bag, but it was really the service that left a bad taste in our minds.
