Le jardin de Montsouris: A Hidden Vietnamese Gem in Paris

Excellent local restaurant steps from our apartment.  Not too many reviews here on Yelp, but that does not mean the food is not good. In fact, the opposite. The Pho was very filling and the broth was rich and flavorful without being heavy.  Also tried the prawn dumpling soup and if my son could have locked the bowl, he would have.  The younger children split the chicken with fried noodles, which sounds like a boring dish, but I was happy to eat the veggies they left behind it was so delicious. The bo bun sounds like a similar dish I find at Vietnamese restaurants in the US, but it was slightly different with the toppings and instead of pork fried rolls, they were chicken.  Another delicious dish.  Anyway, this is a hidden gem.  Go eat here!  Call ahead to reserve a table as it is tight and cozy inside. We lucked out and they had one table available.
