A little quiet when we came one evening at the beginning of August.  A classy place near the officers' club and the old army office.  The decor let you imagine how this place was decades ago (when you can smoke a cigarette or cigar).  I could almost hear the conversations!  

The food was classic French, great wine list and excellent service even when they were down quite a few staff due to the typical French summer holidays.  

Relaxed dinner, took a couple of hours of course... you cannot rush it.   

Across the street was the beautiful Saint-August church and a small park.  So you can wonder around before or after your meal.

Wonderfully decorated interior. Just like out of an old book. They have cafe tables and mismatched arm chairs. You could sit for hours here.

Proudly, I now have a latent addiction to their Pornstar Martini. Always fun and delicious no matter what you choose from the menu!
