Traditional French cuisine vibe as well as the dishes they serve. I love that the English translation is under the menu item since it's in French.

The restaurant itself looks sophisticated and authentic. Felt like I was back in the "early days" of France. 

Our waitress was amazing! She took our order - didn't write anything out and our dishes came out perfect! 

Great way to start our Paris adventure!

This place serves and advertises Berthillon ice cream on their exterior of the restaurant. I had just come from Berthillon myself and it was closed so I took my whole family to this restaurant to ask them if we could just order some ice cream and go. I was begging them to please take my money and they refused saying that we had to first sit down and order a full meal before we were worthy of ordering the ice cream. I offered to buy the ice cream for €40 a cone and they still refused. This is exactly why European companies and Europe as a continent is losing out to the US and Asia. I was giving you my money and you refused to take it. Good luck!

Yeah three stars are about right.  Please understand Le Rey would be an excellent French restaurant in almost any city in the United States, but this is Paris.  Le Rey is open 24/7.  Thus, after a concert, there isn't much open serving food near this part of the eleventh.  El Rey it is.  My duck confit was just okay, but my fries and Caesar Salad were quite tasty.  I was hungry.  Paris expands your stomach and your taste buds.

I don't write a lot of reviews but had to due to our experience last night. The nice thing is that they're open late,convenient and has a good beer selection. The bad thing is they allow Middle Easterners to bully unsuspecting tourists. Very intimidating crowd that this bar caters to at night- beware.

So for anyone who is traveling in France you will soon realize there is no such thing as breakfast here, just FYI breakfast only consists of a croissant jams etc. so if you do not intend to eat at your hotel and you go out hunting for food wait until 12 that is when the chefs come in and you can get a delicious omelette. I found Le Rey walking around the neighborhood and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Lardoon onion potato  omelette and it was delicious with an American coffee which just reminded me of a cappuccino I had in Italy and the states the cappuccinos in France don't ask me why always have chocolate powder on them & with the language barrier just go with it.

I ordered the mushroom omellete comes with fries and salad. The food is just okay, but wifi and fast service is perfect for a tired tourist. The atmosphere is nice

Great restaurant. The meal with appetizer, main course, and dessert was a nice option. The duck was excellent and the cheese plate was delicious. Definitely recommend.
