I wanted to be a fan of this place. It's a pleasant place to sit in, though the tables are small. 

The location, right by the Pont Saint-Michel and across from Sainte-Chapelle, made me a little leery, but not leery enough. We received the typical carafe d'eau, which should be free, and were charged €6.20 for it. 

My wife had avocado toast with salmon, which was tasty, and I had a lasagne order. My pasta came with a nice small salad. The food was good, if a little pricy for the portion size. The toast, for example, had a lot on it, but was it worth €24.70? That seemed a bit steep.

My complaint was not about the quality of the food, or even about the prices --which in Paris specifically or France in general, are always going to be inflated depending on the location of the restaurant, whether you're sitting at the bar or at a table -- but about the mercenary nature of the service. At the end, after handing me a bill which had the charge for the tap water, the waiter had the gall to ask me if I would like to add a tip. I have never heard that question in a European country. Of course, a couple of Euros pour-boire is not unheard of, but this tends to come from the client as an indication of special appreciation for the service. The waiter's question was purely designed as a way to bilk the tourists, who might not know better. I'm positive he would never say that to a French person.

Amazing pizza! Made fresh to order with speciality latte's that are garnished with a fresh yummy macaron. It's nice and clean. We had a reservation for Notre Dame Cathedral which is right up the block so it was nice that service was fast and efficient which allowed us to walk and make our reservation. Our host/waiter was friendly and accommodating. Glad to have found this delicious option!

Had a terrible experience here. Food was decent but when we went to pay the maître d' we found out why this place has such low reviews. 

We finished our meal and when we went to pay he ran my card through the machine which said "paiement accepté". Instead of printing a receipt, the maître d' quickly closed that screen and proceeded to to tell me it didn't go through. I asked why the screen said it was accepted and he boldly lied to my face saying that it didn't go through. Since he had my credit card in hand, he ran it again without asking and charged me twice. 

If you can avoid this restaurant at all costs I highly recommend it.

I do not recommend this place unless you want to get ripped off. Asked for tapwater which the waiter ROSA replied that they didn't do that. Even though throughout our meal, we heard and saw people ordering tapwater and getting big cups of glasses brought out to them. Ours came in a bottle and was poured in small cups.  On top of that I ordered an IPA and she never asked me what size I wanted. At the end of the service we asked to split the check for what each of us ordered and instead she wanted us to pay down the middle. 
Lastly, I wanted to mention that she asked both of us for a tip. Even though I had already tipped for both of us. All the places in Europe that I've been to have never asked me to tip before. 
It's just one of those places where they automatically rip you off if you're a tourist. 
Upon inspecting the receipt at the end, it said that we paid for mineral water, but what we had was not carbonated at all. Please go to the other spots down the street. This one was not worth it.

Disappointing. All I wanted was onion soup and a croque monsieur. I feel for the tourist trap here. The atmosphere was nice and we had a great view of the line to get into the Saint Chappelle across the street. I should have known this is a tourist spot with mediocre over priced food. 

We ordered a bowl of soup to share and two entrees. They came out with the soup and a min later my husband's salmon came out. It barely all fit on the table. The server looked at me and said. Eat quickly ma'am to make room. I thought he meant for my entree. So we ate the soup quickly while my husband had to lean over the salmon. Approximately 10 mins later the soup and salmon were finished. And still my croque monsieur had not arrived. I flagged the server who was completely shocked to hear I had ordered it WITH HIM. He then put the order in and another 10 mins went by before my food arrived. 

Everything tasted ok. The service sucked and the prices were high. €70 later we were full but wasted over an hour of time. We would not recommend this place.

I stopped by after seeing Notre Dame because the menu outside seemed reasonably priced and they had exactly what I was looking for. Escargot.  I knew that I needed to try this while I was in Paris and this seemed as good a spot as any.  The service was quick, nice and attentive. The food was pretty good. The escargot was interesting, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the sauce, but that was more of a preference rather than anything wrong with the food at all!  I then got a French onion soup. There was so much bread in it that it was actually a little difficult the eat, but the taste was really good! 
For a quick tasty and reasonably priced restaurant in Paris, it hit the spot.

Went here for dinner tonight. Our server, Omar, was great!! He was very friendly and we got great service. 
The food was great!! We both enjoyed our pasta dishes.  And the food was reasonably priced for what we got.

Wonderful service by Anis and delicious food!!!!!  Highly recommend the carbonara and ceasar salad.

I'll preface this by saying that I've never left a bad review until this one... the service at this place was just abysmal. Twelve waiters standing around doing nothing but fist bumping each other and yet somehow it still took us 20 minutes to get a menu and an acknowledgement. We put in our food order and 40 minutes later nobody had even looked in our direction. Tried to flag down a server multiple times to no avail. Eventually I walked up to the bar and requested the bill for our drinks because we wanted to leave. They charged us without even a shrug and a "sorry" and watched us walk out. Oh, and the bathrooms are filthy. Don't let the great location of this place entice you... there are three other brasseries on the block with better food, drinks, and service.
