DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE AMERICAN. My girlfriend and I went in very respectfully and asked for an entree and he simply told me "no". I smiled thinking he was joking and asked why and he just said "no". I was surprised and frustrated because I have never encountered this before. It was extremely disrespectful and so I would not recommend going here.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I came to France for two weeks and spend every day here. The food was amazing and the vibes were immaculate! Definitely check it out!

This place is great. Lively, fun, and a great value. The steak I had here was better than the fancy restaurant that we went to. A great spot for early morning coffee,  dinner or late night drinks. Super fun.

Service was great. 
Dinner was amazing. I got the medium well done rump steak and frites and it was so tender and juicy and flavorful. Along side came a peppercorn sauce. My mouth is watering just talking about it. My hubby fit the cheeseburger. It's not my favorite burger but it was good and juicy. For dessert Apple pear crumble was so delicious and the Profiteroles were filled with ice cream and drizzled chocolate syrup. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Wow this is the epitome of genuine French cafe. We came here on a Monday night and it felt like a night out in LA on a Friday. Such a good crowd, good service, great food and drinks! 10/10 highly recommend!!!! Will be back ASAP

What a fun place! Solid affordable food and a fun staff. Young fun crowd. Had a wonderful chat with the one staff member who managed to cook, tend bar, bus tables, and make us feel completely at home! Escargot came out sizzling hot and tasty. Mozzarella and tomato salad fresh and tasty. Steak et frites cooked perfectly. Fish and chips were also quite good. 3 Euros a beer cant be beat!

Four of us had dinner here tonight. The consensus: escargot, very good! Gazpacho, meh. Duck confit, B+. "Filet of beef" was pronounced dry. Good frittes though. I had duck confit. B+ Potato gratin, A  

Service was OK, nothing special. Dessert made us all happy: profiteroles with chocolate sauce is a sure winner. 

So, the recommendation: overall B- (Note: we had breakfast there a few days ago. Not very inviting service then either.) it's good , not great.

I randomly stoped at this place while walking around Invalides. And.. best escargot's ever. Then.. the duck confit 'daily special' with a mushroom souse was a wonderful recommendation. Good neighbourhood atmosphere. Efficient and friendly personnel.
