Great spot near Tullieries Gardens.  It's a bit pricy for what the food is, but with its prime location that is expected.

Appetizers were good for what the kids were looking for, pretty basic.  The entrees were good.  My wife really enjoyed her salad and my son's chicken was good.  

Finally service and cleanliness/ambiance were 5 star.  This made the simpler food very enjoyable for a family with picky tweens.

We were looking for a light appetizer near our hotel and L'Imperial looked inviting. Having just finished a chilly cruise on the Seine, both my husband and I ordered a hot bowl of French Onion soup. It was exactly what we wanted: steamy, cheesy goodness with plenty of caramelized onions and delicious broth. Service was fast and friendly. I imagine that if the weather is nice it would be enjoyable to sit at one of the many tables on the sidewalk, watching the world go by.

We stopped in, and we were in for a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. I had the penne parmigiano, which was superb. My wife enjoyed the beef stew, and my daughter had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, which she really liked. We came back later that same evening after sightseeing and had dessert. I would recommend this restaurant. Very nice and friendly staff.

Amazing food - friendly and professional staff. A must when in Paris. It's also a great in a gray location to stop for a minute and soak in Paris

After walking all day in Paris today and feeling very hungry, I went to this restaurant today with my family(three of us). I ordered roasted chicken and I was starving. As soon as I tasted a bit of it, I could tell it was a pre cooked chicken and it was reheated and warmed up again. I asked the lady, who seemed to be a manager or something, but she didn't know English and called our server. The server confirmed the chicken was cooked before and was reheated. It tasted awful and I don't even reheat home made cooked chicken at my own home, and now I had to eat it at a restaurant and pay for it. I asked him nicely to see if I could order something else, but he came back and said no and ba it is what is. I turned it away, and had to pay for the disgusting reheated cooked chicken. Terrible customer service and at the end , my daughter found a dead fly in her glass of water. I was so upset with the service that I dis not see a point of telling them about the fly, being sure they did not care what so ever.

The ambiance is really cute and the servers were super nice. The food was good, but I was a bit disappointed with the Caesar Salad. However, they did make up for it with the banana split for dessert.

So many stops made and food eaten while in Paris! As I was going through a plethora of pics, I came across our lunch date at L'Imperial. 
We had spent most of the day in the Louvre catching up on pieces that we missed out on during our first trip together, all the walking had us feeling hungry and close to hangry ... we ventured out to see what we could find. 
L'Imperial is perfectly located across from the Louvre and near the Jardin de Tuileries, where we spent the second half of our day. 
Everything you would expect from a French Cafe and more. Price and portions are well mirrored. Drinks were refreshing and bar menu choices weren't overwhelming or complicated. 
A tourist spot for sure but well received by many. One of the yummy spots we lunched at during our stay. 
You may order items to go as well.

We had planned to go to a restaurant near the Lourve (as we were planning to go there after), but found it super crowded. We were walking quickly to find an open restaurant and stumbled upon here. Inside was big, but the tables were quite cramped next to each other. Service was quick and always attentive. 

We ordered the escargot, a staple food in France, french onion soup for me, and the duck confit for my friends. We loved the escargot. As tourists, we were surprised by the pesto sauce it was cooked in. However, we were really excited to eat famous french foods. The snails tasted great and was a great appetizer. My soup came out quickly and was topped heavily with cheese (def not complaining!). I never ordered this before in America and didn't know what to expect, but loved it. It was a bit salty, but loved the bits of bread they put in. My friends' duck was unfortunately really dry. The piece was pretty small as well. The potatoes that came with it was really good though. 

I would recommend this place as it was super cute and convenient. Unfortunately, the duck confit was dry, but the other dishes we had tasted great. The servers were really nice and always super prompt. We were able to walk over to the Lourve after.
