Has been closed for a year... don't make the journey!  Walked a long way for nothing.  I called and the guy that answered the phone said they were open but it was a catfish situation, the place is now a French bistro.

Desperate for SE Asian food after a week in the Low Countries, I did not initially hold out high expectations for Palace Thai, situated near the Ecole Militaire, UNESCO, and various ministries. But it was the nearest and easiest choice. The mixture of Chinese and Thai decor and a menu that includes Peking Duck also warned of overly localized fare, as did the non-Asian clientele.

But in one corner of the menu, there it was: Amok. Cambodia's signature, boneless fish stew, served wrapped in lotus leaves.

It did not disappoint: a marvelous and flavorful creation. The stir fried broccoli and sticky rice also are highly recommended.

The owner and one waiter are Cambodian, with a Thai Cambodian in the kitchen along with with chefs from Hong Kong. Give the place a try - but ask the staff for their favorite dish recommendations!

Was craving Asian food and stumbled upon this place.  The shrimp and lemongrass soup was amazing. The pad Thai was good but not the flavor I'm used to ( I like super Americanized pad Thai lol) so I'd recommend getting something with oyster sauce or the sweet and sour crispy chicken sounded good!

Not impressed. I originally wanted fried rice with vegetables, but they said they couldn't do that.  My question then is, if you have shrimp and chicken fried rice as well as a side of mixed vegetables on your menu, how can you NOT make that happen. So I ended up ordering pan fried noodles with vegetables. The title should have been noodles with bean sprouts! There was no other vegetable present and it was bone dry! I would have rated them lower for food quality alone, but their customer service was on point.

We ordered the vegetarian nems and pad thai. Normally the appetizer comes with only 3 rolls but the server gave us an extra since we were sharing. The pad thai was excellent! Came with tofu and shrimp.

Great place to go when that Thai food craving hits while in Paris. I love how fast everything came out. The food was pretty tasty as well. But the serving size is pretty small. Should be 4 stars just the serving size. Other than that everything we ordered was pretty tasty!

Walking to another restaurant  last night when I came across this Gem. Actually,  my nose found it for me.... The smells of Amazingness hits you and whatever  you're  doing or thinking about is out the window. I quit CV kly turn around and walk into this very nice looking Thai Restaurant that was pretty full, I side and to go. The owner spoke English, which was cool because  trying to translate Thai to French to English would not have been a fun task. Their menu was very limited from what I'm accustomed  to.  ut in the end, I'm glad it was because once the food was served, I quickly  went in for the Foodie Test and ordered a second plate of their fried rice, omitting the eggs and shrimp. It is that good. The beef was hands down the most tender I've ever had from any Asian Cuisine  Restaurant. The fried rice looked plain but it's  all full of flavor, believe me. The noodles where cooked on point and had a unique yet tantalizing  flavor. I added the poster sauce that came with the broccoli cooked in garlic & moister sauce. It gave the noodles and rice a level of flavor that's  definitely  off the charts. I asked the owner how long they've been here, he said "Been in business  29 years"  that's impressive, for being here. Definitely  a must try if you're feeling a Lil' Thai while in Paris.

If you are looking for a tasty dinner, this is it. If you are looking for traditional Thai, not so much. In America, we are spoiled with fabulous Thai restaurants. It was weird ordering Thai when the menu items were in French. At home, they are in Thai with an english description. It took me a bit to figure out the menu. I always have Tom Kha but didn't see it on the menu. I asked the waiter and they didn't. I ordered Beef curry and when I asked what kind of curry, he looked surprised. I couldn't choose the curry. It came with Green. The food was delicious. No complaints there. 

We were the first ones in the restaurant, the last ones to have our order taken, the last to get our food and the last to get our bill (I even asked twice). We were not in a hurry, our hotel was next door and we were done for the night but it was a bit rude. This is our 4th day in Paris and we have figured out the signals, closed menu, motion for waiter, requesting l'addition, etc. so were surprised that we were simply being ignored. The people that were helped before us were locals, likely people living in the neighborhood. That is always a sign of good food and again, it's good, it's just not what I would call Authentic Thai. The menu has been adjusted for more of a Parisian pallet and they also offer Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. 

If you are hungry and want good food, this is the place to go. If you are craving Thai and cannot wait until you get home to have some, you may be a bit disappointed. The food taste was a 5, the service was a 3 (the first time in Paris), I averaged it out. The price per person at our meal was about 20 EU. We were full but we skipped wine. If you have wine with your meal then it could easily be 30-40 EU each.

Great food and good service. Personally some of the best Thai food I have had. We are from the states and needed a little something different from the French and Italian food we had been having. They also don't have VAT or other hidden tax. Very reasonably priced.

Hidden gem!!  This is by far the nicest restaurant with the most reasonable prices in all of Paris.  Great thai food, beautiful interior.  A must visit if your tired of escargot and cheeseburgers at inflated prices.
