I was brought here as a surprise for my birthday and Pavillon Montsouris did not disappoint. 

I ordered from the tasting menu. The salmon appetizer was divine. It was fresh and melted in my mouth. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the sorbet was wonderful. You could tell it was freshly made in house. Since it was my birthday they sent over a tray of desserts and glass of champagne on the house. 

The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was closing time and there were only two tables left but the staff did not rush us at all. They let us finish out bottle of and tray of desserts. 

This place is pricy but it is worth every penny for that special occasion.

We have been living near this park and this restaurant for 8 months, and really wanted to try it. Now that the weather is better, we went with some friends on a rainy night. That diminished the atmosphere, but nothing dampened the experience of the restaurant. We eat early and no one else was there when we arrived, and the service was attentive and impeccable. That continued throughout the night. 

The food is divine. Every bite everyone got was beyond compare. We all got their €51 formule, which includes almost everything on their menu except the more expensive beef dishes. For apps we got the foie gras de canard and a crab mousse. Every speck on the plates was delicious, even the garnishes. Our plats were veal on a bed of macaroni gratin flavored with foie gras, cabillaud which tasted like lobster, and poulet de volaille. Again, every morsel of food on the plates were incredible. The desserts were also fabulous. Sometimes I think more expensive restaurants aren't really worth the high price. In this case, I couldn't be more wrong.

"Cadre exceptionnel, service impeccable, cuisine bien maitrisée", plus in a beautiful park, really an address to go if in Paris to treat yourself before a trip back home. This expensive restaurant is really worth the high price.
