We went for a Sunday tasting brunch at Polichinelle in Paris. The dishes looked exceptional but the taste was just mediocre. 

We also felt like the restaurant was too pricy for locals as well as tourists. A whooping 65 euros for brunch is way too much for any fancy brunch place. 

I do NOT recommend this place! Also, parking is a hassle at this place.

c'était l'une des pires expériences culinaires imaginables. c'était tellement mauvais que nous l'avons considéré comme une expérience théâtrale immersive. il n'y avait qu'une seule personne travaillant dans la salle à manger, s'occupant des sièges, des commandes et de la vaisselle. On nous a facturé 9 € pour l'eau du robinet et nous l'avons reçue 30 minutes après avoir fini de manger. nous avons également reçu nos cocktails 30 minutes plus tard, et ils étaient tous si mauvais que nous les avons laissés non bu. la nourriture était servie déshabillée car il n'y avait qu'une seule personne travaillant sur tout le front - un homme d'Asie de l'Est aux longs cheveux noirs. Lorsqu'on lui a demandé pourquoi il n'y avait qu'un seul employé, il a répondu " parce que mon patron est bon marché ", une réponse très peu professionnelle. Notre thé a été livré sans eau chaude. Et en plus de tout cela, la nourriture était épouvantablement mauvaise. Presque toutes les assiettes étaient immangeables. c'était de loin la pire expérience culinaire que nous ayons eue à Paris.

it was one of the worst dining experiences imaginable. it was so bad that we considered it an immersive theater experience. there was only one person working in the dining room, handling seating, orders and dishes. We were charged €9 for tap water and received it 30 minutes after we had finished eating. we also received our cocktails 30 minutes later, and they were all so bad we left them undrank. the food was served undressed as there was only one person working the entire front - an East Asian man with long black hair. When asked why there was only one employee, he replied "because my boss is cheap", a very unprofessional answer. Our tea was delivered without hot water...and on top of all that, the food was appallingly bad. Almost all the plates were inedible. this was by far the worst dining experience we had in Paris.

As a full time omnivore, I am often wary of vegetarian restaurants. I can say without any reservation whatsoever, this place is excellent. In a town known for superior cuisine, Poichinelle fits in perfectly. Cocktails- perfect, original, and with alcohol free variations. Food - perfect, well thought out and delicious (and a very tasty selection of deserts). Service - perfect. Kind, helpful and very hard working. Thank you, Polichinelle, for a very nice evening.

J'ai dîné un vendredi soir chargé et il n'y avait qu'un seul serveur et un barman pour tout le restaurant. la mise en place du buffet n'avait aucun sens. le seul serveur devait attendre les tables et préparer individuellement tous les plats du buffet. la présentation de la nourriture était agréable, ce qui ne compensait pas le manque total de service. l'eau du robinet et les cocktails ne sont arrivés qu'après avoir fini de dîner. nous avions commandé du thé chaud qui est arrivé sous forme de sachet de thé sans eau chaude. nous avons dû demander que l'eau chaude soit apportée à table. Lorsque trois factures sont arrivées, nous avons été choqués et consternés que le restaurant ait eu l'audace de facturer 4,5 euros par bouteille d'eau du robinet. Dans l'ensemble, je ne recommanderais pas de dîner ici à mon pire ennemi.
