What a place. A rollercoaster of emotions.

You go in and it is dark, low to no music and candlelights on every table. Perfect ambiance for a date night, well we were a group of 11 that night so we clearly misunderstood the brief.

Once seated, you start to realise that the service in this restaurant is not a priority. Things take ages to arrive, most of the staff does not speak french or english. Yes we want authentic but we want to be able to communicate as well.

I did not feel irritated by all of this despite how crazy bad the service was. Something about the candlelight ambiance made more patient.

Then came the food. Change of gears, and we were hit by flavour bomb after flavour bomb. The prime rib from Galicia was perfectly dry aged, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The wagyu picanha was another masterful dish full of flavour.

I am a carnivore, always looking for the best steakhouse. For so long I always thought I could cook the meat better at home and pay a third of the price. Not tonight, I think tonight the quality of the meat, the seasoning and the cookery is something I would struggle to replicate.

That said it is a place where you would break the bank. 100€ pp.

From start to finish, experience at Biondi was phenomenal. The wine was good, the warm bread delicious, and the service was on point. We started with the ceviche and the empanadas with beef and every bite was better than the last. Presentation was beautiful and the food left us wanting more. Entrees were Milanesa beef and sirloin steak.  Again, the food was incredible. From the steak to the mashed potatoes, as well as the salad, the flavors were all there and so delicious! Was so full we had to take dessert with us and eat it the next day. Chocolate mouse. Highly recommend. It did not disappoint.

On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere was perfect and the service wonderful. Neither of us speak French but the staff was great with us and helped us so much. Thank you for such a great meal and experience!

Went for New Year’s Eve and everything was amazing!! Service was spectacular, food came out quick and efficient. Me and my wife ordered steak and came out the perfect temperature we requested (medium rare). Truly a 10/10 restaurant!

This place comes highly recommended for dinner, but I only had the opportunity to come for lunch which was still fantastic.

For around €20 you get an entree, main dish and dessert. I was hoping that the lunch options would have an Argentinian influence (grilled meats, empanadas, chimichurri). The options were really good, but basic and light. The fish with beets was really good, although I wish they would have beefed up the dish with something heartier. I didn’t leave hungry, but I didn’t leave full either.

Overall, another great find on the Michelin Guide. Will return to try dinner!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic lunch at Biondi, an Argentinian restaurant. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Côte de boeuf maturée 5 semaines (Holstein) à partager pour 2 personnes, with its melt-in-your-mouth perfection. While there was a lot of grease, the flavors were outstanding. Additionally, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary entrée - a delightful dipping sauce with crackers. It was incredibly delicious and a very kind gesture on their part. We had as well the empanadas, that were a delicious accompaniment that I thoroughly enjoyed. The food's temperature and texture were on point, and the overall quality and service provided were exceptional, making it a truly memorable lunch experience.
