We were so amazed by the atmosphere of the restaurant and the kindness of the hosts.
They are so prepared and welcoming.
The food was beautiful and delicious. We booked the 5 course meal and every course was a wonderful experience and surprise.
I highly recommend this place. They deserve a visit if you go to Paris. :)

Absolutely outstanding! So glad I stumbled on to this place for ma food blog review. It’s off the beaten path in a small and cozy little space. Francesca made us feel so welcome!

I’m not sure if they’re having an off day or what, but our experience definitely did not live up to how others have reviewed this place. For €85, the quantity of food was not worth it, the taste was subpar, and service was average.

They must’ve changed up their menu because out of all the dishes, only two were good - the duck speck and the dessert. Let me review each course one by one:
1. Appetizers - tapioca chips with radish cream, carrot cake roll, and pork lard with bread - none of these stood out and lacked complexity in flavor and texture
2. Appetizers 2 - egg yolk - this is quite unique and tasted decent
3. Appetizer 3 - Parmesan puff with mushroom mayo and beet root with horseradish - this was okay for me
4. Course 1 - crab filling dumpling with chicken stock - this was interesting in a bad way. With the stock the bottom became soggy very quickly, the flavor was quite mild
5. Course 2 - duck speck - this was unique and delicious, I liked how it was presented, and the pickled onion really balances things out
6. Course 3 - pasta with almond filling and veal broth - this was okay, again flavor is super mild
7. Course 4 - fish sausage - by far the worst dish of the night. The sausage was extremely mushy and lacked any complexity in flavor. For the main protein this is a major disappointment and felt like they’re being cheap
8. Course 5 - dessert - this was delicious, I liked how it seems like a heavy dessert but the ice cream and other parts actually made it less heavy

Service also leaves a lot to be desired - after we finished dessert and informed the waitress that we don’t need coffee or tea, she left us there for 20 minutes without bringing the bill or checking in on us. We had to try to catch her and ask for the bill. When I put down my credit card, she still gave the receipt to my fiance to sign even though she saw me taking it out of my wallet
