It was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was good, but for a one-star establishment, I expected more fireworks. Snagged a seat at the chef's table, always a thrill to be in the heart of the action. Their signature cauliflower dish? Now that was a knockout. Unexpected, inventive, and bursting with flavor. Sadly, it was all downhill from there. The rest of the courses ranged from "decent" to "forgettable."  The rack of lamb? Textbook, but nothing to write home about.  And the atmosphere? "Darkly lit" is an understatement.  It felt a bit cold, sterile, lacking the kind of buzz you'd expect from a place with this kind of reputation.  Maybe it was an off night, but for the price tag, I was hoping for a bit more magic.

Experience was not what we were expecting. Ambience was of a simpler restaurant. Food for me was nice, with signature cauliflower dish being a wow. For my partner nothing was very interesting.
And service was not what one expects from a one star Michelin restaurant (explanations of dishes only when I asked, sommelier served wine in correctly, misunderstanding around bill payment).

We came here following a friend’s recommendation and the fact that the vegetables here came from an exceptional gardener. Indeed the most memorable dish from the 4 course lunch menu was the green beans with some cream and some fish fumet and the use of shiso, it was so so so good. We tried a couple of wine by glass and they were all very nice. Had a lovely lunch time here at a tranquil corner of paris.

We had the evening tasting menu, it was absolutely splendid! Absolutely amazing food! Such unique flavor combinations that are unexpected, and of course amazing!! Absolutely worth the time and money!!

The quality of dish, ingredients and service was wonderful. I had really nice dinner and Menu découvert was a great experience.
