I absolutely would not recommend staying at the Hotel Pont Royal due to the issues with management and the reservations department

The front desk staff and staff working in the bar were wonderful so this is not a reflection on them

It was very important during our stay that we had adjoining rooms which is what was confirmed on our reservation. When we checked in we were not issued adjoining rooms

Everyone makes mistakes, we are all very reasonable people. However the issue is how the hotel management decided to handle this which was honestly not handling it at all!

They did not try to make it right, they did not try to fix this. And in fact, they tried to change the definition of adjoining in a very condescending email

The rates went down significantly and before our stay I reached out to see if they would consider reducing the rate to match the new rates. Reluctantly, they agreed to a portion of a discount

When discussing our room mistake, the hotel manager said they gave us this reduction due to try to make things right which is just not simply true. This was done before the booking

I was traveling with my mom, my sister and best friend. We had plans ro hang out in the room together by having the adjoining rooms which is truly the only reason we booked this hotel

Most may enjoy Hotel Pont Royal if you do not have an issue. But if there is an issue, this would not be the hotel to choose

Not only were they not willing to accept any responsibility they tried to gas light us and change the narrative. I spoke to many of the staff there to explain how great they were but that they have an issue with the management and they all agreed that management likes to hide behind closed doors.

It was all handled in such poor taste. I feel certain the manager will comment and try to change what happened.

Also, the rooms are just okay. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay and I would not return

There are much better hotels in Saint Germain with management that truly understand customer service

We had an absolute great stay. The hotel was clean, well kept and the staff was so helpful. The location was also perfect. Several great cafes right down the street for breakfast or dinner and a short 15 minute walk to countless other options. It’s also a 10 minute walk to the Louvre, 5 minutes to Musee D’Orsay, 20 to Notre Dame & Napoleon’s Tomb and 30 to the Eiffel Tower. Also close to multiple Metro stops to get everywhere — perfect spot!

Very lovely clean room that is walking distance to many sites. Also across from a wonderful pastry shop and grocery store. We were able to walk to the Louvre and Eiffle Tower without difficulties.  There is a taxis stand right outside the hotel doors for other sites, and an ATM one block away. Very clean area with numerous very tasty restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. They provided daily turn down service and almost unlimited bottle water. Very highly recommend!!

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had! The bellman and front desk were so friendly and helpful, right from the start! Check-in was efficient and friendly and we were given great recommendations on places to eat and most efficient ways to get to some appointments we had.

The room was very efficiently laid out and I liked their bathroom products. I had a room on the 7th floor with and Eiffel Tower view and it was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.

The location was excellent- great part of town!!

We will definitely be back!

I made reservations to propose to my girlfriend in Paris.  The staff was the BEST!!!.  Out room was perfect with a view of the Eiffel Tower.  The staff was on top of everything.... We walked to the Louvre, and also strolled down Blvd. St. Germain to find many cafe's and pastry shops.  Taxis are readily available on the corner for areas you don't want to walk to.  Cathedral Notre Dame is close, and the Tour Eiffel was a short taxi ride.  What a great location, and excellent staff..... Would come again in a hearbeat....
