A highlight of our trip in Paris: intimate interior inside a former pharmacy. There are ~10 tables, the service is great and very personal. Our favorite dishes were the scallops with cauliflower, mussels with broccoli, duck confit. The tart citron was outstanding.

After being rebutted from another restaurant with no gluten-free options, I went to Jouvence. It was my second time there, and what a pleasure! The waitresses were very polite and could help me out figure out some gluten-free options for starters, main dish and dessert. Everything was delicious. I asked for a light red wine suggestion to match the fish I ordered as the main dish, and the pairing worked marvelously. I had a Pavlova topped with red fruits, ice cream and a homemade chantilly that was delicious! The room was full and as such there was bit of wait, but food and service was so good that it was worth it.

Lovely week day lunch at Jouvence, where first / main / dessert comes out at 35€, a true bargain! Very knowledgeable wine advice, and overall super friendly staff. Place isn't that big but really nicely decorated, in that Paris traditional style. Can get loud when super busy, and make sure to ask not to be at the counter / on the high chairs if you have any health issues preventing you from staying comfortably on them for an entire meal!
