Had one of the most incredible meals of my entire time in Paris. A buddy of mine in the states who owns a very successful bakery told me I absolutely had to stop by here and I was blown away by it.

We did the six course meal and I sort of wish we went for the full chef's menu. From the welcome food to the dessert, everything had a great aesthetic, great taste. Everything was familiar with an interesting take on it.

And the service was immaculate. Everyone knew exactly when we needed something. We never had to wait.

We went to a Michelin star restaurant the following night and I had a better time and better food at Le Cheval d'Or. When I return to Paris, this will be on the return to list.

One of the most incredible restaurants I have been to all year! You must go if you’re in Paris- the food is well seasoned, well balanced and super creative. We went for the bronze menu- the pork main was insane, the starters were delicious, plus there were so many lovely surprises throughout the meal. The service is friendly, super attentive, and they made great wine recommendations. I can’t wait to go back when I’m next in Paris!

Exquisite experience. We did the tasting menu and it was excellent - the only dish that lacked excitement for us was the fish course. Everything else was inventive, delicious, and impressive.
Limited variety for wines by the glass, but it didn't negatively impact our experience.
If you skip the tasting menu, don't skip the mapo tofu tortellini, croque madame, crispy duck, or egg cups.

Amazing experience at Le Cheval d’Or !
The food is well-balanced and creative with a fusion of French-Chinese. The waiters were also really attentive and took time to answer all of our questions. If we manage to get another reservation, we will definitely go back !

We went with the 9-course tasting menu and enjoyed everything. The scallops, mapo tofu pasta, and duck were particularly impressive and showed off how well the team combines French and Chinese cuisine. The sommelier kindly helped us choose a bottle of wine that paired beautifully with all the courses. Would strongly recommend this for a unique dining experience in Paris.
