Very french, small bistro with great food, and great fast service. Authentic french food and styling down a quite road in a busy area so great if you want lunch or dinner.

Great price too, book as its very busy with locals, which is always a good sign! Merci Lou Cantou!

If you’re looking for a taste of authentic French cuisine, this is the spot for you. But if you’re a fast-food junkie, well, I’m sorry to say you’re in for a disappointment. Do not go there for social media pictures, respect yourself by opening your mind and your taste buds. This food is delicious!

The slow-cooked meals here are absolutely scrumptious, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for a restaurant right in the heart of Paris. The staff is friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Haven’t had a good onion soup for ages so quickly google the best French onion soup in the area and this shop came up. A lot of previous reviews said it was really good so we went in with high hopes.

Was lucky to be seated quickly late afternoon at New Year’s Eve. Ordered onion soup and snails, the server brought onion soup & egg salad. We thought the small salad was a free entrée so didn’t think much but turns out she made a mistake.

Anyway, the egg salad was very simple. The French onion soup was not what I remembered. I couldn’t taste much of onion flavour and the cheese on top was a big chunk and chewy. Overall, it was little flavour and not what I was expecting. Snail was surprisingly good.

Gave an extra star for the very reasonably priced menu but wouldn’t say I recommend. I do love their interior, more neighborhood family restaurant kinda of feel.

We made a reservation for 7.45pm but ended up being there 2 hours earlier. The restaurant team was very kind and welcoming towards us. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and intimate. We really appreciate this hidden gem in the hustling and hustling Opera district.
