Nice view, if you want to walk along Seine river but not sure how to get there, it is easy to put Pont Neuf as a destination and you will be off a good start.

Nice view of Paris as well as a small green space down by the river with benches.  You can catch a sight seeing boat there as well. I recommend taking the cruise slightly before sunset.
