Restaurant le Meurice Alain Ducasse is a 2 star Michelin. We dined here back in April of 2023 so maybe it has gotten better. The food and service were just ok when we went.
It’s a very popular spot though since the decor gives you that Palace of Versailles vibes bec of the dramatic ceiling and chandeliers so it’s good for that.

Another Michelin restaurant experience. Interior Design is stunning and breathtaking.

Service is exceptional. However, just like other Michelin restaurants. The presentation is overly complicated. Took us more than 3 hours to complete the meal. But food tastes good.

Overall it’s a place worth trying for.

ordered bread basket (€12) very clearly pointing at the menu but they gave me the pastry selection (€26) and made me pay for it. also the staff were rude and when i asked a waiter to pour my hot water, he left and asked someone else to come back 5 minutes later to do it. the pastry was also stale and cold so the food was bad but at least the place was pretty.

We went to Le Meurice for mi wife’s birthday. The place is absolutely stunning, you feel like you are in a hall of some French palace. The service is incredibly good. Mostly all of the personnel were English speakers and even some of them, including the chef Amaury Bouhours, spoke Spanish (we are Mexican, so it was great). We greatly appreciated the whole experience. You can rapidly notice that is going to be a good experience and that they take every detail into account.

Although we choose the 5 course menu, with the amouse buche and all the surprises in between the menu, it was almost 10 courses, which we deeply appreciated.

Something that we were really impressed about were the cooking methods that were so delicate with the food. Flavors, although sutil, were very expressive. For example the sea bream, when you read smoked yogurt, beetroot, you expect something that could be agressive to the palate but it was very delicate and yet flavorful. Also the plating was super creative. The mole on the sea scallops is another example.

The warm mallard and foie gras pate is probably one of the best dishes in the world!

The roasted venison was something also really good. The perfect term of the meat combined with the sauce and caviar was something that definitely will make me come back.

This was the most unique dining experience I have ever had! The staff were absolutely incredible and attentive (and funny too). The food was imaginative and bursting with flavor. The restaurant itself was gorgeous- felt like we were dining in a modern Versailles!!! It was my birthday so they brought me a cute little dessert. I have too many great things to say about this place!!!
