Attentive staff from the minute you walk in the door. Explanations about the food were precise and succinct. The whole experience was great. Some dishes were better than others but that came down to personal taste. Don’t miss trying the wonderfully flavoured butter on the homemade sourdough. The only minor negative was the wine by glass - could have been a slightly more generous pour for the cost.

From the moment we walked in until the first step outside, we had a wonderful experience.  The service, ambience, and of course food - all just amazing.  The wine list and sommelier were great additions to a perfect evening.

The dishes were awesome, starting with amuse and ending with some light and delicious desserts.  They accommodated one dietary need without issue and the service was spot on.

The tempo/timing were great, we never felt rushed, we wanted to enjoy it all, but never sat with dirty dishes for long. New cutlery for each tasting and we had a bottle over the tasting for the wine, which they were great to help us with.

The feel and approachability are great and for someone looking for a nice treat and wonderful meal, this is a great choice.

Amazing place, cosy with just the right number of tables and seats (ask for a seat at the « bar » and you’ll have a direct view on the chef and other cooks). The food is obviously wonderful (Michelin star) and with a twist with some « smokery » dimensions for some dishes. The chef and all the staff are very friendly as well !

The food was delightful, inventive, and playful. The pairings were interesting, if sometimes slightly mismatched or dependent on every ingredient on the plate making it to the spoon - the smoked trout required the mustard seed for the wine to work well in particular. The service was commendable, both in English and in French, but there was an awkward fall off after dessert where we were left to our own devices for almost half an hour waiting on the final course.

My biggest complaint, honestly, is the bathroom. Seriously, the ones outside the metro are cleaner. Walking down the stairs past the kitchen to hit a wall of rank piss-odor after six stairs is a bit absurd. It's one thing when you're at a pub or a bar, but for 300 euro a head, it's a bit ridiculous to walk downstairs and find a club-quality, broken-toilet-seated, dank hole for a restroom.

Everything else, from plating to dining was great. A little surprised at some of the misses on the details, having wandered through entirely too many restaurants in my day.

We loved this. Tasty. Unpretentious. Focused. Amazing wine pairings. Great atmosphere. Wonderful staff.

My favourite courses were the blue cheese foam, the smoked haddock, the arctic char, and the cancoillotte cheese.
