La Vieille Auberge is a restaurant of French gastronomy labeled local products and home-cooked.  It is located 8km from the town of Melun in the Seine-et-Marne region and the A5 motorway.  The dining room is warm and in the country style and friendly.  Places are limited, it's advisable to book there for dinner and especially on Friday evening.  The service is almost fast and is provided by a team already experienced in the rush.  The Restaurant has a few parking spaces.  For 13 years the kitchen has been in the hands of the Chef owner and his wife.  The dishes are always tasty and are made with fresh and local products.  Even some drinks are made locally.  There's nothing to say about the value for money.

This special time, the menu was awesome "Thank you so much Head chef". Servis was good everything perfect, but what I am not happy, just one toilet for customers(norm is one toilet for 10 females and one toilet and urinal for 10 males). By the way the food was. Thank you.

This is a real gem. Authentic, warm and friendly, a seasonal menu with local specialties including home-made wild boar sausage as well as a fantastic beef rib for sharing. Home made delicious food and lovely service. Worth a drive and book in advance!!

Lovely place with a cosy atmosphere and delicious rustic country-style homemade food. Service was great though a little slow, this place is not for people in a rush. Parking was a little tricky, we parked a few blocks away, but it was worth the walk.
