We arrived on a whim without a booking. Despite my severe lack of French speaking, the staff were all very helpful. The room was nice, and it was modern without losing character. The car park is very nice and is also secure and private. The pool was exceptional and very clean as well as the perfect temperature. It is also open until late in the evening. The breakfast was very good, the food was lovely and the service and presentation was the same. Overall I cannot fault this place at all. Acquigny is a lovely quiet village with a few shops and restaurants, and it is very quiet. I cannot imagine that you could get better value for money anywhere else. I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely dinner here, the service was great and the setting outside was nicer than expected. We ordered the menu and got beautiful dishes and we even got a tasty appetizer, much recommended!

We had two stays at the Hostellerie in June 2024. The welcome, service and rooms were outstanding. The weather was beautiful so we used the swimming pool and sat out in the lovely gardens. It’s also within easy reach of Giverny, where Monet’s home and garden are situated. And we must make mention of the chef and kitchen at the Hostellerie d’Acquigny. They are absolutely superb. Beautiful food, immaculately cooked and well presented.

We go there for dinner at least once each time we are in Normandy (that is around 3 x per year), often taking special guests with us.   We think it is a magnificent restaurant.  We don't know about the rooms because we have no need of them
