Great set menu typical of French cuisine excellent steak. They didn't speak a word of English but that was our problem not theirs very accommodating.

We enjoyed an outstandingly good meal at this restaurant at a very reasonable price.  The service was excellent, the ambiance was nice and relaxed and each course was memorably delicious.  We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Ate here last night for my husband’s birthday. Thoroughly enjoyable meal - good service.   Fox’s gras terrine was as we would expect, not outstanding, but fine.  Warm brioche roll with fruit, very nice accompaniment.  Main course Lamb was small but cooked to perfection, potato purée was buttery, and veg nice.   Warm goat cheese in filo was good, and the cheese board looked equally nice as it went by..   the star of our meal was the pre-desert rosemary creme brûlée- it was scrummy (nicer than the dessert).
We enjoyed our meal, and the surroundings.  We would return.
