Very rarely I give 5⭐️, this restaurant absolutely deserves these stars.
Food is unspeakable, absolutely wonderful, and great for your vision and stomach. Dessert, OMG, great, and homemade, the best ever. One important detail for me, it's fries, homemade, tasty ❤️
Don't forget about the beef filet (limousine) melting in your mouth.
So, must have to visit and enjoy of wonderful time here.
PS, for me, important detail in french restaurant: clean toilet (just believe me)

Visited for dinner with my partner whilst on holiday near Bergerac. My partner is celiac but our waitress was able to let us know which options on the menu were gluten-free.

All three courses were delicious. The scallops, served with a savoury ice cream and courgette remoulade, were particularly good - unlike anything I’ve had before!

We drove past this place in February when it was all closed up but thought it was such a beautiful location we would try it in the summer. We've just eaten there tonight and it was first class. These days too many french restaurants rush you through your meal like British places do but we spent 2 and a half hours there from apéros, through three courses to coffee. The staff were charming, knowledgeable about their wines and menu and very professional.  The food was outstanding and we hope to return again when we are next in Bergerac in October.

Unbelievable.  The food, the staff, the location, the value for money, this place has it all.
So good for the money paid, staff were excellent and food was incredible. Yes couple euros more than other restaurants but you won't be disappointed. Staff speak English too! This place would have a michelin star in England!

Another perfect visit to Le Bistro. We visited last year and returned back to Begerac again for the sole purpose of coming back to this restaurant. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. The menu is always fresh and in season, always exciting to see what they have available.
The food is impeccable for taste and presentation, there is nothing about this place I do not like. Beautiful location looking out of the Dordogne, very romantic.
A huge thank you once again to everyone for making our visit as special as the last one
