Really brilliant dinner - would definitely visit again if in the area. We were staying 15 minutes away for a wedding the following day and booked for dinner at 7pm. The menu (although slightly confusing for English speakers) is very varied and there are plenty of options including a very good set menu option. We went off menu and had three delicious courses. The staff were very helpful including the head waiter who is very knowledgeable about wines and was very helpful with translations we couldn't manage. It's very good value for money for what you get and we'd definitely go back if we were in the area.

Fantastic restaurant, great choice of quality dishes. The lobster bisque and main course were wonderful, and superb value. The main waiter was very attentive and ensured we had a pleasant evening, even helping move our table to have a view out of the window for our post dinner drink. Looking forward to visiting again when we’re in the area.

I recently enjoyed lunch here with five others in the quiet town of Montendre. The service was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The ambiance in this renovated hardware store was comfortable and stylish and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. All in all a very enjoyable time. Highly recommended.
