Beautiful restaurant, very peaceful. Servers were very kind and made great menu recommendations. The menu is seasonal, so each dish was very fresh and filling. Will definitely return.

Took over 3 hours for lunch. We had to serve wine ourselves, didn’t come to ask for coffee. Unfortunately, bad service. Food was excellent.

I had high expectations of this place as it's locally quite famous. The entrée and desert were great and I ate the best mashed potatoes of my life. However, we had asked about providing a vegetarian option weeks in advance to which they agreed, but when we arrived they served me unseasoned steamed vegetables. I expected more and would say this restaurant is not vegetarian friendly.

This is the best restaurant in the South West of France, a big statement but no arguments will sway me otherwise! For location, ambience, service and quality of food a 5 star award is a given. Not just the restaurant, which I will revert to, the village of Eugenie Les Baines is beautiful and well worth a wander around before or after lunch. Back to the restaurant, Thrush Farm as it’s called in English is simply idillic. Akin to a great old English pub with stone and oak beams everywhere this is the type of venue I feel most at home with. The customer service is par excellence and probably not a coincidence with the connection to Michel Guerard’s excellent hotel just a short walk down the road.
Some of the most enjoyable lunchtimes I’ve experienced in France put aside a few hours and immerse yourself in some serious pleasure.
