From the moment we arrived, Caroline at the reception made us feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and attention to detail set the tone for our stay. She was always available to help and provided us with great recommendations for our time in Bordeaux.

This hotel holds a special place in my heart as it is our engagement place. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making the moment truly unforgettable. A very very relaxing stay at a beautiful hotel. I loved the decoration mixing the rustic country side vibe with modern touches in the interior decoration. The rooms are ample, clean and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and friendly and overall very quick at helping out with any requests. Great place to go and relax, walk around the property, visit the winery and visit the spa. Highly recommend renting a car since it’s in the outskirts and also that way you can visit more towns in the region. Dinner at La Grand Vigne is a must. Dog friendly hotel.

Great place to spend a couple of nights. Nice grounds good breakfast and dinners, responsive staff when you are on premises facing them.

But try not to forget anything when you check out. I left a polo shirt in the closet, called them from Paris later the same day. They promised to check and let me know. They did not. Next day I spoke to receptionist and a manager and got a run around. One said the room was not occupied yet, another said it was. They asked me what brand the shirt was as if there was a collection of shirts picked in that room. They claimed that they searched the room and had not found it but there is no miracle. I hung it in the closet to dry because I got caught in a rain. Just the shirt and nothing else. So they either threw it away or took it. The bottom line the shirt is gone.  Not a big loss relative to the price of the room, just annoying.

I spent 4 blissful nights at this hotel.  The rooms and entire setting of the hotel is absolutely fabulous.  The hotel is very quiet located amongst the vines.  The staff is very pleasant at the front desk and restaurants. The service at the Rouge restaurant is slow to the point of giving up.  Make sure you take a tour of the vineyard and enjoy a meal at the Michelin restaurant.  The Caudalie spa is outstanding for relaxation and special treatments.  The pool area is very well appointed, you can spend the entire time there if you so wish.  The hotel offers bikes and would highly recommend a ride as well as the forest walks which are full of surprises.  The only downside of this hotel is that it is full of children in August, the hotel would be much more enjoyable as an Adults only retreat.

Our half-day spa experience at Les Sources de Caudalie, just outside Bordeaux, was incredibly relaxing. We arrived just before 9 AM to check in, and after securing our belongings in a locker, we began with a 50-minute massage that set the tone for the day. This was followed by a rejuvenating 50-minute facial and finished with a luxurious Merlot body mask. We continued to enjoy the spa facilities until 1 PM, fully soaking in the serene atmosphere. Afterward, we made our way to the hotel for a delightful lunch, perfectly capping off a day of indulgence.

If you're planning a visit, be sure to call or email ahead for an appointment, as there are different packages available for guests versus non-guests. Additionally, the spa has a fairly decent-sized parking lot, which is convenient since the hotel itself only offers valet parking options.
