Exceptional Dinner
Very personalised and attentive service by Nicolas and his staff, from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. It was also a pleasure to see how much Nicolas and his staff seemed to be enjoying their work.
As for our dinner, we chose the Menu Découverte (all meat for OH and all fish for me), and every single dish we had was inventive, beautifully presented, spectacularly delicious and made from the freshest of ingredients. It was without a doubt the most memorable meal we’ve had in a long time, and the best espresso we’ve ever had!
We will definitely be making a trip back soon. Thank you again, Nicolas.

We had a special event planned, and Jeff Nicolas and his staff made our evening wonderful.  We have been here twice in a month and the food was excellent both times.
Both times I we opted for the Signature Menu, which is a five course meal selected by the chef. So it is a fun surprise.  You do get to pic your desert.  we picked the chocolate magnum built to look like an egg.
You can also order a four course prix fix or just ala carte.
Yesterday it started with à amuse-bouche that included a whipped avocado based tasting. We then had a wonderful Toro tartare that had fresh herbs, diced vegetables, and spices in a marinade. That was followed by 3 perfect scallops (Coquille Saint Jacque), which was followed by three perfect shrimp served in a banana leave in a coconut curry sauce.

The wine was local and wonderful.
We interacted a few times with the playful but focused chef, and the rest of his staff was efficient and fun.
We had a great evening.  :)

We took the €48 tasting course and we wanted to try both menu so we took one dish each from appetizer, main course and dessert.
Tuna tartare (appetizer) and Tacos (Main) were ok, not bad! But white fish sashimi with cucumber sauce (appetizer) and white fish in a wok (main) in Thai curry sauce were disaster!!! Even the dessert was wrong:/
It seems the chef takes a lot inspiration from Asian cuisine but there is a lot of misunderstanding. I doubt if the chef actually went Asian to try authentic Asian foods.
We found it on Michelin Guide of this restaurant and how is that possible this level  cooking can be on the guide?
Also, there is a €40 charge if you cancel the reservation.
Wine and cheese were very good!

Our dinner at L' Atelier was just wonderful.   We ordered the house cocktail and the menu decouverte. The cuisine is truly unique, showcasing a creative blend of local ingredients with asian flavors.  We typically would not have asian food in France but this was very different. We highly recommend this restaurant.
