We had heard about this place and wanted to try it, it was worth it. The food was delicious, good service in a beautiful square in Martel.

We had a lovely lunch here with a party of 5. The food is really good, and for our vegetarian party members there were a few choices (but don’t expect abundance of choice). We spend about €30 p.p. for lunch (starter and entree) and drinks.

Staff is very helpful and friendly, they set up an extra umbrella for the shade since our stroller was a bit in the sun, and they spoke both French and English to help us out with our spot.

The view of the old market building is nice, and the seating outside is in the sun but well shaded, it’s perfect.

So pleased that we booked and could sit out in the square to eat our meal as Sophie's restaurant was buzzing! At €27 the set 3 course menu is excellent value and we enjoyed every morsel including the banoffee dessert. Service was at times a little slow due to the number of diners but that did not matter as it was always with a smile. Highly recommend.
