Excellent quality and good value for a special meal.

It was my birthday and birthday girls need presents!  This meal was booked as a surprise for me and involved two friends joining us.

It is not cheap but for a special meal maybe once a month (if I am good!) it is very good value.

My pigeon with cherries was something that I will remember for the rest of my life.  It is quite a grand place but we were made to feel very relaxed and we probably stayed far too late but we really enjoyed it.  It is our intention to stay in the town next time so that we can both have some of the excellent wine.  If I could give it 6 stars I would.
