This is the cozy little authentic French restaurant you have been looking for. I was taken here by some friends celebrating my birthday. We are A1 level students at Language Onze School in Toulouse. As a beginner speaking French I was nervous but in a matter of minutes I felt at home.

It was very obvious why everyone who eats here has a reservation. The restaurant is small and cozy, well known by the locals, and the food was incredible. Just like all things French, they don't open until 8:00 p.m. and within 15 minutes if you don't have a reservation you won't be eating here.

Everything we ate and shared was made with love and perfection. This was not just a restaurant but a true French experience!

We had high hopes for this restaurant based on reviews. Unfortunately the menu offerings were lack luster. The starters needed salt and the calf’s head was more fat than meat.

The veal steak was exceptional! The the tiramisu was just okay, the lady fingers were dry. The service was good at first and we even had very great win recommendations but as the night wore the service wasn’t as attentive and our dessert was forgotten.

We had a great lunch! The food was delicious and the restaurant is also dog friendly; they even provided a bowl of food after for our dog. We sat outside on their terrace on a very quiet street with a few small shops around. The food was amazing, very friendly service - definitely recommend!

I have a piece of advice for this place, make sure you clarify what exactly the dish is. This is perhaps my own fault but I ordered grilled squid with risotto. I wasn't expecting it to be in a creamy sauce and I forgot about the French love of creamy sauces. I don't think Squid is enhanced by a creamy sauce but perhaps that is cultural. It was cooked perfectly but it was not a well constructed dish. The menu didn't mention the creamy sauce, I eat everything so I don't normally tend to clarify every ingredient in the dish but this time I wish I did! Creamy squid for me is not a good idea.
Mussels were delicious (a slightly sweet sauce which worked well and the desert was excellent.
