Great walking route although steep in places. Would highly recommend and views are fabulous. Wear good shoes as terrain tricky in places.

The walk within the park itself just around the parking du stade to the coast was nice and felt like a natural space, but the seaside walk past that to the north was just a meter.5 wide strip atop cliffs next to a campground and RV park. The sea views were nice but not a great locale

Très  belle rando de Port Vendres à Banyuls, 17km, bien indiqué, avec de nombreuses criques oû se baigner.  Paysages magnifiques. chemin parfois un peu escarpé,  prévoir  basket et eau. Retour possible au point de départ,  pour 1€, avec le bus.

Le.commentaire.suivant concerne la partie du sentier du littoral du Phare de Port Vendres jusqu'à Banuyls. Parking gratuit au niveau Phare, le chemin commence par une descente relativement abrupte, la suite des 12 kilomètres et une succession de montés et descentes, une.bonne condition physique et de bonnes chaussures sont nécessaires, prévoir en fonction de l'époque, eau, crème solaire ou petite sweat. Pas possible en poussette, vélo etc.
Durée environ 2h30 à 3h00 en fonction des pauses. Pour le retour on peut prendre le bus à Banuyls et descendre à l'arrêt " Quai " de Port Vendre et rejoindre le parking après une montée d'une petite heure par la route
Pas conseillé aux enfants ni aux personnes non habitués à la marche.

The following comment concerns the part of the coastal path from the Port Vendres Lighthouse to Banuyls. Free parking at the Lighthouse level, the path begins with a relatively steep descent, the rest of 12 kilometers and a succession of climbs and descents, good physical condition and good shoes are necessary, plan depending on the time, water, sunscreen or a little sweatshirt. Not possible by stroller, bicycle etc.
Duration approximately 2h30 to 3h00 depending on breaks. For the return you can take the bus to Banuyls and get off at the “Quai” stop in Port Vendre and reach the car park after a short hour’s climb by road.
Not recommended for children or people not used to walking.
