The hotel is nicely located on a road overlooking the river Loire and you can park in the road outside. Montjean is a lovely town to walk around, particularly the river front. The room was on the small side but fine and the bath room was brand new. The evening meal in restaurant was very good, as was breakfast. The staff were all very friendly.

Lovely little town. Very few eating places within walking distance. Mid September and already shutting down for low season. Both Bistro and Resturant closed today, Wednesday. The Church overlooking La Loire and town is beautiful. Lovely walks and cycle paths along the river. The telephone box was made in my hometown in Scotland.

I only ate at the restaurant, and it was just amazing. The service and the food are beyond expectations. I WOULD love to come back to taste the complete menu.

Rooms ok and did the job...in 1950s style. Evening meal low on quantity..fish over cooked. Breakfast lacking in variety. I think if I stayed again I would not bother with half board. Staff friendly. Sorry to leave less than glowing review but it was how we felt
