A great place to eat with new proprietor and chef. Food is excellent and desserts are to die for. A varied starter selection, this comes with your choice of drink, wine etc. Plus plenty of bread and is followed by a choice of four mains and a very good cheese board. Do you need more? Last night there was at least eight different and all mouth watering desserts. Worth going for alone.
Yes, you dine with the truckers but on your own table to one side. There is a bar and if you need, showers and toilets. Meal only is around £12.50.

The truck stop is a place we e visited for over 20 years. The set price menu is excellent with lots of choice. The food is well cooked, varied and always good. I would recommend it to anyone
