I certainly want to start with the positives and must say that the concierge manager, Luca, was a delight and addressed our issues the absolute best he was able.  Eduardo, the internship concierge, was also fantastic.   Housekeeping ladies were very pleasant, as were the bell staff.
The hotel is rated and priced as 5*, and perhaps it is according to French standards.  We, however, are used to much nicer accommodations and service when booking 5* hotels.
As a family of four we shared two adjoining rooms with sea views.  The rooms are nice, although I would certainly not classify them as 5*.  Bathrooms are in ok condition. Linens are poor quality, as are toiletries.  The rooms were not cleaned well and we often had to remind to have them serviced.  When we notified the hotel that the bath hook was ripped off the door in one of our bathrooms, the staff expressed concern and did nothing to fix it.
We dined at the beach restaurant our first night and the food was quite good.  However, service was terrible and honestly the worst service we have ever experienced at any restaurant. Our server made several errors and while management apologized and took some drinks off our bill, the experience was poor and still costly.
We also booked a private boat for the day and were disappointed with the captain - Azimut boat with owner, Jean Maud, and his unwillingness to meet our request to travel to Monaco. We booked the boat through the hotel, so it was verified by the hotel.  Jean was grumpy, argumentative and the unpleasant experience cost us nearly $5,000 for the day.  We cancelled our next boat day with him and still had to pay 800 EU for the cancellation.  The hotel did offer us amenities at the beach to help compensate for the costly charges and poor experience.  We were grateful for that and appreciate Luca's efforts to make it right.
Overall, we felt that the cost did not match the quality and our expectations were far from satisfied.

I want to thank the entire staff, especially Tristan at the front desk, for making our short stay totally memorable. We got there early but he made it very easy for us to check our bags and change into our bathing suits to use the beach club, which is magnifique. The bellhops and concierges and valets were also so kind and accommodating. Also , the concierges are very responsive via email which is so appreciated when traveling. They answered all my questions, made recommendations for restaurants and took care of the bookings. Would definitely come back to spend more time. Mille Mercis!

We didn’t stay the night but the service at the cocktail lounge on the terrace was abysmal. We would have ordered another 4 drinks should the waitress be attentive and remember anything. We watched the couple next to us have the same issue. Other than that. Snacks and negroni were great. It’s a shame that service can ruin an experience that badly.

The three of us went for a drink after waterskiing at the Belles Rives pontoon and enjoyed the views from this historic venue. Staff were accommodating and we enjoyed the drinks on the terrace, though these are pricey.

We didn’t stay here but had lunch twice. The first time I was on my own and got the salad nicoise- it was fine and the tuna served was straight from a tin (menu said bluefin but I’m not sure). Ate again with my husband and two sons a week later - got the Niçoise salad again - tuna was gone off- foul tasing and smelling (it was dressed in something other than the previous weeks tinned tuna). I suspected it was vacuum packed of sorts. Included in the tuna was what looked like plastic but what I was told was garlic skin !! No apologies just took off the tuna and charged full price !! Very very disappointing
