Excellent hotel with first class amenities and beautiful spacious rooms. Food was incredible and the staff was warm and friendly. The concierge Gael was extremely helpful and made the experience in Provence a blast. Hope to return soon.

Loved our stay here in Provence. The hotel grounds are really stunning and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The concierge was great and gave us maps of the local area and suggestions for things to do.

We were upgraded to different room category with FH&R. Our room was nice, but a bit oddly shaped with an enormous bathroom and smaller bedroom; which made it a little cramped with all of our luggage. However, the balcony view we had made up for it and we loved enjoying the view with a glass of wine every night.

Lovely place with great food, fantastic staff and beautiful rooms. Very luxurious and we felt really spoilt. Pricey but it was for a very special occasion.

We stayed at Domaine Manville for three nights in early October. There were some excellent areas but also some really very poor for a pricey 5 star hotel

The positives were:

Good, helpful staff generally and plenty around

A beautiful large courtyard and swimming pool area. Good seating and service

Great location overall (well worth a visit to Castellas olive oil location if interested un such things as well as of course Carrières des Lumieres. Both nearby in a car)

Really impressive looking and light breakfast area. General outward luxury feel to the main hotel in a modern way

The negatives were (we had room 35):

First morning was the emptying of the cess pit for the whole hotel which went on for just under two hours. Made the room smell rank and whilst the breakfast room was not made to smell the rumbling noise of the lorry spoiled the breakfast experience somewhat

The breakfast was a little soulless. Needs some better and slightly louder music to help it probably classical or calming. The room needs some soft furnishings and everything is clattering and hard and impersonal

Croissants and pain au chocolat look nice but taste poor each morning. The other producer at breakfast all generally fairly dull given the amazing area the hotel is based in

Spa area was poor for the hotel. Dark and though restricted times and booking needed even then there were not enough seats and the jacuzzi and indoor pool were too cold. Things like soaps/ shower gel empty

All in all therefore a disappointing hotel experience. Unusual on check out not to be asked at a three, four or five star hotel how the stay was

we stayed for the third time at the Domaine and again we were super happy. The location is perfect, the staff super attentive and friendly. We love the Golf Course with it's rectangular greens and bunkers. And the food served is just delicious. Just booked again in September :-)
