Very good food experience! Very tasteful dishes   accompanied with some starters or intermediate small food. All very fresh and colourful presentations. Large choice of good wine.

Food was good but the experience was marred by the service. For the peach dessert, the presentation was different from the rest of the customer (our gelato was served in a small bowl but others were more elaborate in like a dry ice dome). We asked the waiter because we were curious, his answer was "I don't know". We would have been ok if he said perhaps they ran out of domes etc..

Service was between dishes were too long.. Took close to 30 mins for them to serve each course.

When we left and wanted to thank the chef who was at another table, he did not even turn around to acknowledge us.

My husband and I had many restaurants "out of the path" and in "strip malls" in USA but never understood why people were so surprise to find us there, good restaurants can be anywhere and we know that!
and we found le bistronomique
what a great moment we had !
Knowing that they were short in staff in the kitchen ( chef was by himself) as chef told us while we arrived (yes he was even greating customers!) and that they were packed and found us a spot anyway
(not in the main dining room and that was even better for us)
we were excited about la suite.

The wait staff was fast because busy , but extremely attentive to details
( specially the young waiter) and super friendly and knowledgeable about wine
(the sommellier was very nice and in a fun french mood)

emulsion de gazpacho et spuma fume

two glasses of wine that sommelier choose for us matching our order

every dish was very well presented and tasted every ingredient,, nothing was overwhelming, a party for the palate

we now live in the area and we will return and we will bring friends and customers that will come to visit us in the beautiful gorges du Verdon
