Lovely place but nothing exceptional. The service was extremely disappointing, and the food more so, for a starred restaurant it was below average.

About the service, we ordered a bottle of wine from the carte, only to receive a different bottle with a vintage that doesn't even feature on the menu, no explanation, just like that. I guess for the inexperienced staff all Sancere is the same! It is customary  for the staff to refill out glasses when empty.

About the food, the foie gras had the wrong texture, felt more like chewing on a piece of rubber, the scallop was way too firm and tasteless, and the main course, a pork belly that was tender but dry! I very much doubt there was a chef in the restaurant that night???

If you go without any expectations of a level of service or a mastery of cooking then this is a satisfactory average restaurant. Otherwise you are better off going somewhere else.
